With thanks to BBC Worldwide…
From March 27, Doctor Who will come to life like never before in the virtual world of PlayStation Home – offering more than 31 million gamers the chance to interact with iconic elements, environments and costumes from the series.
You can deck yourself out in the Eleventh Doctor’s classic tweed jacket and bowtie outfit, and even accessorise with your very own Sonic Screwdriver. For prospective companions, there’s River Song’s catsuit, complete with PDA accessory – but, please don’t peek at her diary.
If you fancy being an alien, you can become a prehistoric Silurian or suit up as an ominous Silent. You can even acquire a Cybermat as a companion that will follow you around PlayStation Home (nanovirus – fortunately – not included).
No Doctor Who experience would be complete without the TARDIS, which will be available as both a private estate and clubhouse where you can join your fellow fans and explore the wonders of the TARDIS – and trust us, it’s BIG.
The expansive TARDIS private space and clubhouse is unlike anything Home fans have seen before and comes equipped with a LOOT Active Camera so you and your friends can capture your adventures and seamlessly upload them to your YouTube account. Fans can catch video content and shop for Doctor Who items – both virtual and real – via LOOT’s Entertainment on Demand system.
“We’re really excited to be bringing this much-loved series to social and virtual worlds,” said Simon Hutson, senior vice president digital development at BBC Worldwide.
“We are committed to preserving the spirit and aesthetic of Doctor Who while introducing this historic franchise to PlayStationHome” said David Sterling, vice president of business development, LOOT Entertainment. “It’s the same Doctor Who millions have loved for 50 years—with a virtual, interactive, and social twist.”
In celebration of the series’ 50th Anniversary, additional Doctor Who themed virtual goods, environments and social experiences will be added to Doctor Who on PlayStation Home throughout 2013.
So, what are you waiting for? Visit PlayStation Home and the LOOT store and begin your wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey adventures today.

March 25th, 2013 - 4:57pm360 maybe but i have just researched about the new 720 and the PS4 and i have got to say (price wise, game play and memory)the PS4 is going to be 10 times better! (only because the 720 has had a big delay as the factory in India who made them had a massive malfunction with the chips).
Joe
March 25th, 2013 - 5:19pmXbox is not better.
PS3 has free online, Xbox does not. Xbox is a terrible gaming platform, full of little annoying kids.

DOCTOR WHO ONE
March 25th, 2013 - 3:07pmAnyone else reminded of a Doctor Who game that came out in the early 80’s / 90’s that had a Dalek moving around inside the corridors of the Tardis ?.
And who exactly is that man and woman in the video ?, cos it sure aint the 11th Doctor and River Song, plus this should have the new Tardis Console Room, not the previous 2010 version [talk about keeping up to date].
Doctorpond393
March 25th, 2013 - 3:18pmYes but when they were designing it the new console room wouldn’t have been released to anyone.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
March 25th, 2013 - 3:58pmGuess so yeah, guess this was made before the new Console was introduced.
Planet Dalek
March 26th, 2013 - 6:20pmDestiny of the doctor/s.

mr
March 25th, 2013 - 3:55pmA bundle. I have never used Playstation Home, but I guess that there is a TARDIS map, a Cybermat, a Silurian costume and a Silent costume. Then there is a Doctor outfit and River Song’s catsuit outfit.
Tay

John Smith
March 21st, 2013 - 8:08amI’m more of an X-Box and P.C player. Judging by what we’ve seen, I think this is obviously to help celebrate the 50th.
Give me a Dalek anyday
March 21st, 2013 - 7:24amAn 11 Doctors video game? Lets all hope so!!
mr
March 21st, 2013 - 7:03amFrom the trailer, you cannot guess what it is.
I’m guessing Doctor Who and Playstation Home, and it’s coming soon, but that’s it.
USA FAN
March 20th, 2013 - 10:57pmIt’s probably a TARDIS environment that you can purchase so that you can hang out with your playstation network friends online. They will probably have character skins as well for your personal avatar. A few years ago they had something similar for Star Wars. You could hang out in the Cantina with other network members. You could also buy different costumes for your avatar, like stormtroopers or Boba Fett.
Mels
March 21st, 2013 - 5:48amMost likely. Should be interesting either way.
DavidH
March 21st, 2013 - 4:11pmYes, that’s most likely. I hardly ever use Home but might spin it up again if this isn’t too expensive
Anonymous
March 20th, 2013 - 10:39pmWould this have anything to do with the eternity clock?
Doctor Stu
March 20th, 2013 - 10:56pmThat’s what I’m thinking
Blake
March 21st, 2013 - 2:59amPerhaps a sequel?
pathdw98
March 21st, 2013 - 3:21amI may be wrong on this (someone please correct me if I am), But didn’t they say that The Eternity Clock was the first of 3 games for PS3?
Mels
March 21st, 2013 - 5:49amYes, it’s the first of 3. Though I’m wondering what’s happening with the sequels to the game now, since the ps4 has been announced and isn’t backwards compatible. (Whether they’ll release the rest for ps4, or stick with the ps3).
Doctor Stu
March 20th, 2013 - 10:39pmIt could be a Doctor who game and this is just a sneak preview of what’s to come.
Mr Byzantium
March 20th, 2013 - 10:35pmwhat has this to do with dr who?
