Character Building Super Rare Micro Figures
A Character advert in Kick magazine shows previously unannounced micro figures including a football shirt Doctor, Projected Angel, Silurian, Raggedy Doctor and different Amy Pond. It suggests these figures will be “Super rare” with quantities as follows…

July 3rd, 2011 - 11:00pmMy 3 year old son managed to pick up a Raggedy Doctor today from Sainsburys!!! He’s Doctor Who mad. We were so surprised because it came with a certificate saying it was 1 of 500 and showing the other rare ones on the back. Our other son got an Angel and was a bit disappointed. Bless him.

June 28th, 2011 - 8:34amgot them, will sort them out now, i think you right about the certificate, people might me so used to the leaflet enclosed with figure that they dont look at it and throw it away, this actually happened with the one we bought as they weren’t aware they came with certificates but luckily they managed to retrieve the packet.

June 15th, 2011 - 2:03pmAm I the only one that finds this really odd? Even though these are ultra rare, there are still 1300 of them. Theoretically, even if CO had only sold 10% of their stock so far, that’s at least 100 of these figures that should have been found so far, SOMEONE would have posted a picture of at least one by now. I’m starting to think CO hasn’t actually packed these, or they’re witholding all/most of them to pack into boxes when sales start to drop and people need an incentive…

Nobody will buy loads of packets just to get them as theres only 100!!!! and whoever does get lucky will just eBay it and further destroy the idea of collecting from your local toy shop.
Bad choice Character – just annoys people and nothing else.

All we can do is email CO and complain. If they get enough emails, they may do something about it. Hopefully they’ll reconsider and re-release these rares in a future wave, or as a special box set.
People who are lucky enough to get a super-rare now, should be allowed to redeem the certifcate of authenticity for a (really good) prize instead.
I just want a set of these figures. CO should not have made these unobtainable.
LOL. Any mathematicians out there want to work out the odds of finding all 5 rare figures from blind buys?

June 1st, 2011 - 7:40pmI don’t know exactly how many “millions” of figures CO intend to produce, but the odds of finding just one of the super-rares (the 100 only, ones) is X in X0,000 so even if they only produce 2 million that,s 1 in 20,000 or 39,800 pound’s worth of packets
