Anyone notice the slight change in the Doctor Who logo in some pictures, the H is slanted a lot like Pertwees, McGanns and 50th Logo!

What does it mean by ‘heritage line’ with the Daleks?

Al Dewar previously said on Twitter that the “Heritage” line is between “Classic” and “Current Series”. So stuff from 9th, 10th (and I suppose now) 11th Doctors.

Why are they advertising the 12 figure with an image of Malcolm Tucker? O_O

Thought I’d not get the 3.75″ range, but to be fair Character have pulled it off here. A lot better than Wave 1 and very tempting, still wish they did it in 5″ though

Another problem (I know its not final) but Amy’s and 10th’s figures look very collector like, and don’t have much poseability!

That’s because they’re prototypes at the stage before they engineer the articulation.

Oh my god oh my god oh my god. I have no words, it’s all so exiting! I particularly like the Amy Pond figure form AOTD. Also on the 14th picture down it says just on the left hand edge of the pic ‘new monster’ and has a silhouette, well is that an actual silhouette on the actual thing? I also like those Dalek machines seen in the 50th, although could do with a little more detail. I just hope to god that most of these are actually made!!!

The original statement from Al Dewar last year (he’s the head of product development, or something along those lines, I believe at Character Options, though I may have the title wrong) was something along the lines of the Classic line “slowing down” in 2014. I take that as coming to an end. I was surprised by the “Other (Hurt/McGann) Doctor” release being done in 5″ scale though, so maybe there’s hope. People keep buying this 3.75″ scale and they’ll keep producing them. That’s all the justification CO needs to cease any 5″ scale releases.

What is that thing the Dalek is inside off ?. I know we saw it in ‘Day of the Doctor’ and ‘Time of the Doctor’, but I just don’t know what it’s called.

Hope we will get a 12th Doctor figure in the 5inch scale. After all, where getting a 5inch version of the War Doctor, it’s only right that that Character Options should do a 5inch version of the all new 12th Doctor as well, otherwise you’d have 12 Doctor’s who are all 5inch and the new Doctor as a short arse next to his other selves at 3.75inchs tall, making Peter Capaldi Doctor Dwarf !!.

I don,t think these 3:75 inch figures have took off in the way they thought. They bring out a new wave to keep fans interest piqued why,ll the show is off air. They could compromise by doing a couple of these for the 5 inch scale and keep the classic sets coming.

Frustrating. I thought I’d avoid getting 3.75 figures (only due to finance and spacial reasons) and stick with 5″ classics but this 2nd wave is so superior to the first… but character building has the edge at the moment so I think I’ll still invest in that and any future UT 5″ releases…

Allmost as good as the 5 inch, and the daleks are a lot better than their 5 inch counterparts!!

We very rarely get any Classic stuff shown at Toyfair. It’s a show for the mass retail buyers (Tesco, Toys R Us and the like). The classic line is pretty much FP only.
