Stocks Arrive – B&M 2019 Sets Product Codes, Prices and Information
Stocks have now arrived in many stores
B&M have now added the sets to their website at www.bmstores.co.uk
We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.
Its that time again and this year there is probably more interest in these sets than ever before because of the inclusion of 2 brand new head sculpts, previously elusive figures, the 5th Doctors Tardis and a new line of Big Finish Doctor and Dalek sets.
Make no mistake this is a fine assortment of products considering the price points.
There should however be plenty of stock and the inevitable popularity of these sets over previous years appears to have been allowed for this time around.
The Tardis Sets have the same code as all the previous sets therefore the system cannot distinguish between them. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.
The 3 Figure Sets all have new and individual product codes making stock inquiries much easier.
The Big finish Doctor Dalek Sets all have one code. If you require a specific set then it will need to be visually confirmed.
The Sonic Screwdrivers all have one code and are in the new Blue/Silver style guide.
For the most part people in the past have been extremely helpful in posting where sets have been found however we strongly recommend you check availability yourself before traveling.

I’ve given up looking in B and M stores to find one person has always bought the lot! The Sontarans and Harry set only cost me a fiver more than original price. That fiver would be the cost of my bus fare to my nearest B and M and back anyway.

August 29th, 2019 - 12:50pmB&M at Neat’s Court, Queenborough, Kent has 4 sets of all sonics, 12 Two Doctors sets, 8 Seventh Doctor sets, 12 Sontaran sets and 6 each of both the Tardis sets. No Dalek sets left but were here earlier in the week and more may follow.

August 29th, 2019 - 12:24pmCalled in three stores while coming back off holiday. Chatham branch : Somebody had gone in Wednesday morning and bought the lot except Jodie figure. Strood branch : Somebody had gone in and bought the lot costing nearly £500 !!!! Left the Jodie figure and sonic screwdrivers. Gravesend : somebody had been in and bought the lot. Only Jodie figure and old ones from last year. Got back to my home town of Chesterfield and they were all there !!! Bought ONE of each. Plenty left for anybody nearby.

August 29th, 2019 - 10:09amSince my being there at 6:30pm yesterday the Barnstaple store now has no TARDIS sets left (they only had 1 Shada TARDIS anyway, but still, I got there for opening this morning and it was gone!), just 2 Docs, Sontarans and last years. Still no Dalek packs at all.
Also, managed to exchange my incorrectly packaged Sontaran set for a new one, so that was good!

August 29th, 2019 - 9:21amI can now say I have completed the new collection, my local B&M here in Baglan, Port Talbot have taken stock of the 2 doctors/Sontaran 3 packs, the only things I was missing, still a few Silver Nemesis sets left as well along with Sonics, Jodie doll and I spotted the 7th doctor/dalek set as well. The other branch here in Port Talbot, near the Aberavon Shopping Centre, as of yesterday, had the above, along with a few more big finish/ dalek designs (all 3),and 2 of each of the tardis sets.

August 29th, 2019 - 9:04amThis has been a very stressful few days. Finally got what I wanted but my word. I asked staff if they had stock, they say no even though they were on the shelf. By the time I got there to check myself they were gone. I tried all the stores in my county and others to get them all. Glad it’s over. I hope b & m make less sets from now on. I appreciate them but it is a right pain.

I had come to quite like B&M which is a shop I wouldn’t have gone into if it were not for these figures but they are now beginning to annoy me.
I phoned Basingstoke yesterday and the person I spoke to did not have any idea when they were getting stock although she did go and look for me.
I’m not just having a go at Basingstoke either as most of the other outlets in the near area have been the same.
There has to be a better way than this!!! Just randomly turning up and finding nothing is more common than not.
Surely by now the shops must realise that these are sought after items and that there should be a better system of getting hold of the items that you want. Most other shops would do this I think.

There’s only 2 of the Shada TARDIS sets remaining. There was plenty of all the others. They have put them on display on the end of the toy aisle! Looks rather amazing all together.

Only 7th Doctor, a few Two Doctors, some Sonics and 13th Doctor dolls left. Still no sign of anything in Filton Abbeywood – just a ton of last years and a load of 4th Doctor Regenerated Tardis’s.

As of that time they have around 3x 70s sets and 2x 11th sets from the revised wave. 4th Doctor regen TARDIS set has sold out though, 2 weeks ago they had about 10 sitting there.
No sign of any of the new sets and maybe I couldn’t see it but there didn’t seem to be any label or gap for the new sets. Saw earlier comments saying they asked and managed to get a 7th Silver Nemesis set over the weekend but no one available to check stock at 7pm so couldn’t ask myself. Will be attempting other stores closer to London soon.

I did a proper old school toy hunt yesterday and today and between B&M stores in Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and Edinburgh managed to pick up the sets I wanted.
The Jodie 12″ Doll and sonics were in stock at several stores but I wasn’t looking for those.
My experience so far is:
B&M Glasgow Fort – Androzani Tardis (the only one on the shelf)
B&M Edinburgh Straiton – All of the Three Packs and 7th/War Dr Dalek Packs
B&M Hamilton – Shada Tardis (the only one on the shelf)
B&M Motherwell – 8th Dr and Dalek (the only one, other two packs were still on the shelf)
I tried several other stores around these areas, and they some had combinations of the Three Packs and Dalek Packs, but I’ve only listed the ones where I found the items I was looking for. Only found one of each of the Tardis’ and 8th Dr Dalek sets.
I was surprised that some of the bigger stores had only a limited selection, or nothing at all (yet), but the more out of the way stores had a few items out. At the moment the Three Packs and the Dalek sets (apart from the 8th Dr, which is rarer) seem to be the easiest to find.
I guess the moral of the tale is that if you keep looking you will eventually find what you are looking for. Initially, I only really wanted the Harry figure and the Daleks, but these are nice, well-thought out sets. Even the Sylvester three pack, which seems to be the shelf warmer of the sets is a pretty solid choice, and worth it for the Cybermen alone. It may be that the ratio of this set is higher than the others, but the stuff does seem to be selling through pretty quick.
Even more surreal that every store was furiously putting out their Xmas stock! Halloween, fair enough… but come one, it’s August. 🙂
If CO had followed a similar model – a new or newish figure – a Doctor and a Monster/Villain a few years ago the line might have not run aground. Hopefully the B&M relationship will be a shot in the arm – like their previous relationship with Woolworths when the line was in its prime.
It may even tempt them to try some more new figures for future packs. A classic Sarah Jane figure would seem like a no-brainer at this point to complete the Season 12 line up.
Just great to see so many Dr Who figures back on the market.

It will only hinder sales as there is as many collectors buying multiple – one to open and one to keep sealed – as there are people specifically buying for ebay. If you want to end the range sooner then support limiting sales – otherwise embrace a free market where people who want to spend 2x the store price on ebay can and the rest of us can sensibly wait till stores get more stock and B&M reaps the profits to push the range into the future.

Unfortunately the 1 per person policy hasn’t reached Tolworth yet, meaning that people can casually stroll in and buy the entire shelf if they wanted to… 🙁

August 28th, 2019 - 9:30pmFollowing the tip off on here yesterday I ventured over to Belfast Cityside this morning and managed to get the Sontaran and Two Doctors three-packs. They had plenty left at about half ten this morning. They only had one each left of the 7th Doctor and War Doctor Daleks sets though and no TARDISes and no Silver Nemesis sets.
Was then up in Derry/Londonderry this afternoon and they had oodles of the Two Doctors set but no other figures apart from the old ones. They did have all of the sonics though.
I’ll be visiting Enniskillen tomorrow so will report on their stock levels when I’m there.
