    booboo.

In a few weeks it would be good to do a poll of each set to see the numbers bought by people on here. Also adding options of 2nd/3rd/4th sets for those army building or buying duplicates to customise.

Do CO ever announce numbers sold or give actual numbers of how many in distribution?

    Keep up the good work.

I hate to sound like a cheapo but a set of 3 figures is $50 on Amazon? That’s 38 quid! No way that’s worth it. Was really hoping to get all of these figures and sets for the equivalent of what they cost in UK pounds, but no way am I paying an extra 18 pounds per set! That’s almost double what they are costing over in England! I understand they have to probably get shipped over here but I’m not gonna pay to cover that. Guess I’m missing out on all of these. Oh well…

Hello, I’ve just put on another thread how I’ve collected Star Wars products since 1977.
Since the products are American the US usually get stuff at ridiculously low prices why I pay 3 or 4 times more on eBay for same product. It’s just visa versa really. But I do think the US as best end of the bargain by far.

      Chris,
That’s what I keep telling myself, when I buy an American product
I HOPE I GET IT FOR SAME PRICE AS THE AMERICANS PAY.

Hey booboo, I realise this kinda works as it is, but do you have the ability on this site to maybe setup a page where we can keep kind of like a tally / running stock levels of sets in stock? Maybe do it for the next run (Assuming we are getting one), I realise that puts the trust on us to update it but my assumption is everyone who visits this site wants to get the sets and not scalp.

Amazon US has all of the sets up for perorder. The increase in cost isn’t so bad if you consider shipping to the USA is about $30 on ebay right now.

I hope once the Amazon Official North America Doctor Who Store finally gets around (or is arsed) to opening, that it will remain open and be worth it. And once open, I hope there are no more excuses or delays with future releases being made available. This “little bit” longer is getting tedious. It’s pretty obvious that little regard is being given anyone awaiting these sets availability.

I went to the Oldkent Road B&M after seeing several earlier comments and brought the Dalek Set 1. When I left they had one of each Dalek Set left and about 5 each of the TARDIS Sets & 3 packs. I now have all of the 3 packs, having brought them last week and a friend sending is me the TARDIS & 2nd Dalek Set, so I have all of them secured. However I will still update this page if any of my local stores in Romford get them.

I popped in to the Old Kent Road store this evening and they had those 5 TARDIS sets still there (no Daleks). I was going to get one but didn’t as the doors on on all of them look like they’re misshapen and all bow outwards at the bottom.

I bought the daleks 2 and TARDIS at about 16:50 so I must have just missed the Daleks 1 as there were none left!

    • Spacewarp

      August 1st, 2020 - 10:00pm

@Valeyard. I didn’t notice that, but now I see the one I bought is like that. Slim chance of one from Derby and one from London just being the same, so may be a design fault, or just the way the doors hang. Anyone taken one out of the box?

    • Spacewarp

      August 1st, 2020 - 10:08pm

If you check out the TARDIS pictures in this review, you can see the bowing of the bottom of the doors, so it must be universal. The review doesn’t mention it so either he didn’t notice it, or it’s so slight as to be negligible.

For anyone in Derby/Notts Saturday 1st August, B&Q Meteor Centre (about 2pm):

    – Companions of The Fourth Doctor Set
    – Friends and Foes of the Thirteenth Doctor

But Derby Allenton B&Q (about 3pm) is the place to go, as they have the lot:

    – History of the Daleks Sets 1 & 2
    – 2nd Doctor and TARDIS (about 3)
    – Companions of The Fourth Doctor Set
    – Friends and Foes of the Thirteenth Doctor
    – 1971 U.N.I.T Claws of Axos Set
Plus a few Big Finish Axis and Interrogator Dalek sets

Not many of each as they are only using a single metre in the Toy aisle (unless there was an end unit I didn’t see)

I hadn’t planned on getting the “Fam” figures, but I thought what the heck, and went back into Derby Allenton today (Sunday). Still a good lot of stock there, the only ones that had gone were the History of the Daleks set #1 so I suspect I must be one of the few collectors in the Notts/Derby area! Nottingham B&M stores seem to have packed up selling them as Castle Meadow (Radford) and Lady Bay don’t seem to stock them anymore. Oh and I took another look at the TARDIS sets in Allenton, and all of them have the “bowed outwards” doors, so I guess that’s the way they’ve been made.

I went in the end, got me the two dalek sets! They now have even more than what you said! It’s awesome to see there are plenty. The only downside is I had a glance at all the TARDIS sets and they all seem to have the bent door problem. As much as I hated the previous prison they came in, I hope they change this for the next release, luckily this prop was beaten so it doesn’t look too bad.

Does anyone know if there will be any more stock of HOTD sets coming to stores, or is it one delivery per store and that’s all? I heard the dalek sets hit the shelves here 2 days ago and were bought up in the space of an hour or so 🙁
