Just a quick question. For how long can you usually pick up these sets? I won’t be in the UK again till either end of August or early September, and I am hoping to pick up 4th Doctor and 13th Doctor sets. Is there any chance of that? Guessing B&M doesn’t do layaway, lol!

It really depends on the region and the stock levels accordingly. It really is a “postcode lottery” with B&M’s distribution of these sets, and it isn’t even a consistent one, in that a region that was “privileged” one year won’t necessarily be the next.

If you’re able to get around the UK in late August/September then the chances are you’ll be able to pick them up *somewhere*; the only thing you can do, frustrating as it may be, is check on this and other forums again nearer the time. Bear in mind that this time round it’s looking like the Dalek sets are the “Holy Grail”, so if any sets are likely to be in short supply by then (due to scalpers as much as anything), it’s them.

Thank you for your informative reply! I will certainly check here right before I leave and maybe even ask. I’m only after the 4th and 13th sets,so here’s hoping. I’m only in the UK for a long weekend so travelling around will be somewhat limited. Staying in London so probably only nearby cities. Maybe pop home to Nottingham.

      Thanks again!

Ipswich town centre have quite a few of everything but none of the13th Doctor set. Most are on the end of an aisle but there a few UNIT and dalek sets mixed in with the toys.

(for those who weren’t aware), the best place in Ipswich to buy the 13th Doctor Set is the B&M Branch off of London Road, next to Currys PC World. Thanks for the update on the East Gate Branch, I’ll check it out some time soon maybe.

Is there any stock of the TARDIS set showing in Tonbridge? I would check the app myself but it won’t work on my phone.

Fareham Mall did have some TARDIS’s. Luckily myself and 1-2 other true fans got one. Yesterday and eBayer bought all 12. 14 trips to B&M, just the Daleks to go.

    Farlington just 3 figure sets
Newgate Lane is like a timewarp. Figures from previous Dalek wave

The app is currently saying yes for Leytonstone – but that can show stock that’s out the back waiting to be put out, not only what’s out on the shelves, so it’s not 100% reliable.

They didn’t have as many as that out first thing this morning, so it’s good to hear they had a good compliment of stock to refill the shelves by this afternoon. Really happy to see others able to get their hands on these this weekend now- brilliant news!

I saw your earlier post and was worried that they’d all be gone by the time I got there, but such a nice surprise to see so much stock on the shelf. It’s only taken a week to get to this level, so it’s actually really reasonable. Yiewsley never disappoints!

Bit random, the sets are amazing but the plastic and/or paint that they’re using seems a little bit different from usual. Does anyone know if it’s it just to reduce production costs and if future sets be the same? (Not complaining I’m just interested in the whole process, in many ways it’s a miracle getting these sets)

The Culverhouse Cross store in Cardiff had stock of the TARDIS and UNIT sets. Cardiff Bay didn’t have anything, along with the Pentwyn store. The Llanishen store had stock of the Peladon TARDIS but no new sets. I’m yet to check on the Newport Rd store, but as of Sunday they also had the Peladon TARDIS and some Big Finish Dalek sets from last year. The app says a lot of these stores have the new sets, but I can confirm, they don’t!

Update: London- Old Kent Road has all the figure sets in stock. Unit, Daleks 1 & 2, 2nd & Tardis, 4th Dr and Companions & 13th friends & foe sets. Please note they are aware of eBay scalpers which is good so you may need to ask. Some were being moved behind the tills as a result.

I’m glad the Daleks and Tardis sets are in London now! I’d better get to my local before the notorious scalper of my area (that the staff have told me about) gets there! It’s good that Old Kent Road are actually doing something about the scalping problem though, so maybe I’ll head there instead…

If that’s the Pump Lane one, that’s great news because Yeading (Willow Tree Lane) just up the road has been fairly reliable for this stock for the last two releases, but the Hayes/Pump Lane/Argent Centre one not quite so much. Really happy there’s some good quantities for everyone. fingers crossed the fans get in in time. (I’m trying to gauge how much stress the wave later in the year might cause by how much this wave caters to us this time. So far- at least they’re getting everywhere now. Good news.)

Visited Reading Brunel Retail Park about 40 mins ago: they had approx ten of the 2nd Doctor TARDIS sets and a combined 14 sets of History of the Daleks 1 & 2! I bought one of each! No three packs.

Nice to see the TARDIS + Dalek sets are finally appearing in the south!
