Just a quick question. In the video, behind Al,is that stuff that’s coming out later? I would LOVE the K1 robot as I missed the build a figure thing! Or is just the BAF one? REALLY hoping it’s a future release! And sorry if it’s already been answered in another comment that I might’ve missed.

If I remember the robot was available when you bought the very first wave of action figures years back . You built it up using parts from different packs . I’ve got the head , 1 arm and a leg. Last time I looked on eBay a complete one was 150 quid.

Yeah, that’s why I mentioned it in my post, lol! The first wave of classic figures, not the very first wave of figures,if I remember correctly. I got three parts as well,as I only bought the three Doctors in that wave. So the parts that came with those three is all I got. Came out about twelve years ago or summat, yeah? 2008? 09? Wish I had all the parts now,but one can always hope they’ll release a robot figure with a 4th Doctor or something, lol! And another set I’m still kicking myself for not getting was the first Remembrance of the Daleks set. It’s way too pricey these days, lol!

I remember buying all the set so i could make the full K1 robot
Never opened them though, the ones that came in a clamshell I never opened because of spoiling the packs.
All the later sets I opened because you could open them without damage and reseal the box’s if need be.

I’m thinking of heading up to York Foss Islands on the weekend. What are the chances that the new stick will be in by then? I really want to add the 5th Doctor and TARDIS to my collection!

Dregs! Where are the Dregs? That was kept quiet.

    • Coleman

      October 5th, 2020 - 10:26pm

The Dregs had a great design. The episode wasn’t the best but the Dregs were very good. Must have missed them when I went to B & M.

      October 6th, 2020 - 10:16am

Dregs and ecological themes aside, i still think orphan 55 will be a contender for worst story battling it out with Timelash, Time and The Rani and Warriors of the deep come the next big poll but i doubt even they would topple The Twin Dilemma. Whats your opinion Coleman?

    • Coleman

      October 7th, 2020 - 9:43pm

      Hello, Ergon.
I know orphan 55 had a pretty bad wrap among the fans, but I didn’t think it was that bad really.

      October 7th, 2020 - 9:52pm

I know it won’t be popular among alot of fans but I never really liked the Brain of Morbius. Silly story with an even sillier monster. Absolutely shocking design for the Morbius monster (what was the designer thinking). Never bought the CO or the Harrops version of it either. I know alot of people like this story though and I remember you saying you bought the Morbius monster by Harrop and really liked it.
Didn’t you have problems with that one arriving damaged I seem to remember?

I’ve checked a couple of the B&M stores in Leicester (and the B&M store in Loughborough) and they all have the figures from the previous wave. I’ve called one of the B&M stores and they did recieve an invoice on that they will have some stock delivered soon on the 24th Sept but, they don’t know when it’ll arrive. Hope this helps for people living in Leicester.
