Stocks Arrive – B&M 2021 September Sets Information on Product Codes / Barcodes

Stocks have now arrived and are starting to appear in stores.

We have closed comments on all other B&M posts so they can be concentrated here.

At the time of writing option 3 on published store telephone numbers that allowed you to speak to a member of staff has been removed. You could try the main customer service number, 0330 838 9000 and ask to be put through to your local store or try and find out its direct number.

Shown below are the product codes and bar codes. The app is not allowing you check locations at this time.

We strongly advise you make whatever checks you can yourself to check store availability before traveling.

To find your nearest store visit www.bmstores.co.uk or use the map below. Please contact www.bmstores.co.uk if you require more information.

The B&M Map:

This map is a guide only and shouldn’t be used as a definite indication that a particular store has stock

The map shows most stores, if you see any missing please leave a comment. As the app will not allow you to check stock locations at the moment we may use this map to show the distribution pattern and possible stock locations.

If you see stock and take a picture you can send it to [email protected] and we can add it to the map or you can link to an image you are hosting yourself.

This map has layers, if you click on the icon in the blue header at the top left of the map in the you can select which layers you want to see.

A Dalek will be placed to the right of the store concerned but you will need to zoom in to separate the 2 or click off the store location layer.

Please note as the situation on the shop floor is so fluid we will no longer list stock on the map. As far as we can tell the initial delivery for stores that have had stock was for 12 of each figure set and 6 of each Dalek. As you might expect most stores are selling out of Daleks at a faster rate than the sets. Some stores listed have already sold out of all stock

Nothing in Gravesend in Kent when I popped in this afternoon.

I’ve decided that I’m not driving to loads of stores looking for sets this time. If my local shop doesn’t get them then I won’t bother anymore.

Last time was a bit of a shambles in the South East, I never did find the Mc Dr set or the friends of the 13th.

Just got back from Salisbury — nothing, not even an empty space or price label on the shelf. Presumably, they got cleared out already and resorted the shelves so as not to waste space…

Went to B&M Aberdeen early and they said they weren’t getting. To be fair though they said that last year but they then got them but just later compared to everyone else. Will check Portlethen tomorrow.

Yh, when the second wave came out last year they initially had no friends of 13th sets. I asked, the staff member said what’s on the shelf is all they are getting.

Roll forward 1 week and a single friends of 13th has appeared on the shelf. Another week after that the shelf is packed with them!

I never bother asking staff in-store, even if they are polite and helpful they never really know what’s going on with these.

Hopefully you find them though. I’m not looking for this wave but I hope they do still get stock when it comes to the next wave.

Stores are getting a box of each product code on the same delivery, that’s 12 of each set but only 6 of each Dalek.

They may still be out back, its clear form other reports not all stores are putting everything out at the same time

nothing, gogs1 store front still only has 1 figure, its seems impossible to get a definite answer

    • Prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 4:54pm

It’s a coincidence as someone on ebay from the UK is selling lots of the US versions for RRP, you can they are the us version by the warning label and lack of gold limited edition sticker.

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 5:03pm

These seem to be the same sets CO are selling that were destined for the USA, clearly they did not sell well in the USA if that much stock has been left over.

    • prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 5:17pm

That can be down to either:

      A) People in the US didn’t know set’s were made available to them in the US

      B) Still relied on people sending them from the UK like previous time regardless of Amazon

      C) CO over estimated American Interest, by quite a bit.

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 5:49pm

it might of helped if people who signed up to the website for news actually got an email

    • Prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:04pm

There just doesn’t seem to be much communication with these sets, which is why I lot buy on ebay even with the CO exclusives because the information only goes so far.

Like you said, would help a lot here and there if there was some type of email update, or even advertised in the DWM

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:13pm

yes people still bought of Whona even though they were double the price

The people running it though clearly didn’t know much about Doctor Who, numerous spelling errors and incorrect names, images taken on kitchen tables etc.

Apart for a few forums and this site which are mainly UK centred i didn’t see any marketing beyond that.

    • prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:29pm

Probably explains why till they were just left with 1 figure, you could still buy any of the last 2 waves (except the tardis sets). Once again, ill thought ideas and probably the last time potentially new sets will be released in the USA due mainly to lack of publicity from the solo trader or even CO stating officially they will be available in America.

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:31pm

they still had stock of the others but removed them all (second time they have done this) They said they were updating their store front (which might explain why they had to leave just one item there)

    • prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:37pm

Doesn’t take much, better Information, better photos and spell correctly would be a good start. And publicising would help, especially being the only direct American distributer. Will have to see what they decide to do

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 6:42pm

there are some big figure sites in the USA and i never saw them mention them at all form what i remember

    • prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 7:10pm

    • booboo

sorry i meant big news sites like figures.com not retailers

    • Prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 7:21pm

Ah ok, so bascially the knowledge in America of these sets being in America was little to none at all

    • booboo

      September 10th, 2021 - 7:24pm

basically mostly from UK based sites and forums, not USA based ones

    • Prototype dalek

      September 10th, 2021 - 8:12pm

“Thank you for your email. We, unfortunately, do not know what we’ll offer later this year. We should have some new arrivals in 2022. Please check back then.”
