November 11th, 2013 - 7:20pmApparently the character’s name is Osgood and she is related (daughter maybe) of Tom Osgood, the UNIT technician who appears in “The Daemons”. (He’s the UNIT soldier who builds the device from the Doctor’s instructions to break through the force field around Devil’s End).
In one of the later books he works as a scientific advisor for UNIT in the 2000’s.

November 10th, 2013 - 1:21pmThere can’t be, despite what the Doctor has said there is a finite number of universes possible because of the Time Lords and other such groups limiting the existence of some of them to ensure everything continues to exist (for example if there was a universe where Davros did succeed in detonating the reality bomb, there wouldn’t be an omniverse anymore).
Part of the limitation is that the Time Lords only exist in the Whoniverse (or at least there are post-Time War anyway).
