Big Finish Doctor Who Out of Time 3 – Wink
Available to order from www.bigfinish.com
David Tennant and Colin Baker have their eye on the Weeping Angels
The Sixth and Tenth Doctors will unite to fight living statues on a planet of light in Big Finish’s brand-new full cast Doctor Who audio adventure.
The Weeping Angels are back to take on two Time Lord incarnations at the same time in Doctor Who – Out of Time: Wink.
Due for release in July 2022, this new audio drama is the concluding part of a trilogy of multi-Doctor specials which pit the Tenth Doctor and one of his former selves against a classic enemy from the TV series.
Doctor Who – Out of Time: Wink is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD (for just £10.99) or a digital download (for just £8.99) exclusively from the Big Finish website.
When the Sixth Doctor goes sight-seeing on Lucidus Silvara, he finds himself in a place where nothing is visible at all… only all-encompassing light! The Tenth Doctor is drawn in by a temporal anomaly, and the two Doctors meet a species with no sense of sight, living in a city surrounded by Weeping Angels.
To save a civilisation, the Doctors must keep their eyes on the Angels. Don’t blink. Don’t even wink…
Producer David Richardson said: “The Out of Time series has been about wish fulfilment for us all on the productions. Putting the Tenth Doctor with past incarnations to battle the most loved monsters, what could be better than that?
“And with Wink it’s the turn of the adorable Ol’ Sixie, taking on the Weeping Angels – and this time the stone terrors are on an alien world in the future.
“It was especially lovely to hear David Tennant tell Colin Baker what a privilege it had been to record with him. Wink is, in every way, a story made out of love for Doctor Who.”
Joining Colin Baker and David Tennant in the cast are Joanna van Kampen (The Archers) as art enthusiast Estra, Ayesha Antoine (Doctor Who) as Padilla, an inhabitant of Lucidus Silvara, and Clive Hayward (The Windsors), as city planner Dax.
Doctor Who – Out of Time: Wink, written by Lisa McMullin, is now available to pre-order as a collector’s edition CD (for just £10.99) or a digital download (for just £8.99) exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.
Big Finish listeners can save money by purchasing the Out of Time bundle, containing all three volumes in the series, for just £27 (as a collector’s edition CD) or £24 (as a download).
All the above prices include the special pre-order discount and are subject to change after general release.
Big Finish is currently operating a digital-first release schedule. The mail-out of collector’s edition CDs may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date.

Aw I was really hoping they’d do more with 7, 8 and maybe 9 if they could get Chris to partake.

January 14th, 2022 - 11:08pmI’ve never heard an audio story with the Angels before. How do they manage to be a relevant enemy when they don’t speak or make a sound of any kind?

January 15th, 2022 - 12:06amThey use sound for movement as they did in the series. They did a previous story Fallen Angels with Peter davisons Doctor on the Classic Doctors New Monsters Boxset.

January 15th, 2022 - 3:10pmI really can’t imagine it working especially as the other thing with the Angels is seeing their differing stance and facial expressions when they have moved.
However it must be something that Big Finish can realize nicely or they wouldn’t use the Angels.

January 15th, 2022 - 4:57pmIt works, they use that quick shift sound which they didn,t need to use on the show to emphasise them moving. it was simply there to heighten tension for dramatic effect. With Audio with regards to expression you let your imagination do the rest. The fallen Angels story works as a very good standalone even though its part of a boxset..

January 14th, 2022 - 3:45pmI always buy the big finish title up to 12 months in advance the titles i want. I bought the first two out of times featuring tom baker and peter davison as i always like the novelty of new doctors meeting their former incarnations for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed both those so it was a no brainer and too irresistable to have 10 meet 6. The cover for what there is to show is quite attractive as well.
