From the above article “To complete the first wave, other popular characters including Rory Williams and River Song will be released.” So they are definetly coming out, and there are going to be others with them.

    • blink?!?

i think if im getting one it will be river song and the doctor 🙂 but it depends on the price…

    • SillyTilly

      October 1st, 2011 - 10:57am

Going by the quality of the figure, its not going to be anything less than £100.

It won’t be that much. There are quite a few figures coming out so having such a high price tag as £250 is going to put lots of people off buying a few of the figures.

      2) They’ll make a Mr Pond

      😀

Yes, there will be a Mr Pond, the press release confirms it. There’s also a Miss POnd on it’s way (although from tommorow that might not be the case).

      September 25th, 2011 - 7:58pm

At this scale, it’s very unlikely. The bare minimum wouuld be £20 and even then that’s only covering factory costs, never mind the fact it’s hand painted and the level of detail on the figure and the detail of the clothes, the number of accessories. It all adds up (although probablly not to £100 but still expensive).

    • TheHandbot

      September 25th, 2011 - 8:01pm

I would think about £60, maybe a bit more

    • Mels

I’d think £100+… but I’m guessing like everyone else!

    • Anonymous

      September 26th, 2011 - 2:37pm

It’s going to cost a lot, that’s all we can tell. But the fact that two are coming out at the same time (and then two more coming out in close proximity to it) would suggest a slightly lower price. £50 would probablly be the minimum but £100 the maximum.

    • Mels

      September 27th, 2011 - 5:25am

      I’m thinking Hot Toys pricing.

Anything less than that will be a bonus!

Nice! I emailed Big Chief and asked if they had any idea of a release date etc… they (perhaps not suprisingly) didn’t reply.
