December 6th, 2025 - 1:14pmWondering what will be next after the Classic Collection sets are complete. I know we’re quite a few years off yet but what could be done?
Here’s a few thoughts with all stories upgraded in Bluray form by the time Collection is finished with best audio etc.
Complete Doctor sets
Each Doctor having their complete run in one box set. Each season in a hardcase box set like the standard Collection version then housed in one cardboard hard case set. Each set with the best version of each story with a booklet about that season/Doctor. But if have Hartnells last 2 stores on his set. Aswell as Bakers first on his set.
1st- 1,2,3 and final 2 stories part of S4
2nd- 4,5,6
3rd- 7,8,9,10,11
4th- 12,13,14,15,16,17,18
5th- 19,20,21
6- 22,23
7th- 24,25,26
Monster Box Set
These have been done with a few stories of Classic and New. But have it with all Classic on each set.
Dalek
Daleks, Dalek Invasion, Chase, Masterplan, Power, Evil, Day, Frontier in Space, Planet, Death, Genesis, Destiny, Resurrection, Revelation, Remembrance,
Cybermen
Tenth planet, Invasion, Moonbase, Wheel in Space, Tomb, Revenge, Earthshock, Attack, Silver Nemesis
Master/Rani
Terror of the Autons, mid of evil, Colony in Space, claws of axos, daemons, sea devils, time monster, Frontier in space, deadly assassin, keeper of traken, logopolis, castrovala, time flight, kings demons, planet of fire, time and mark of the Rani, the ultimate for, survival, movie
Ice warriors
Ice warriors, seeds of death, monster and curse. As it’s a smaller set could include Cold War and Empress of Mars to fill up a bit.
Sontarans and SeaDevils/Silurians/Zygons
These 2 are big monsters but they don’t have a lot of episodes in each Classic and Modern. So could combine both eras for each set
Sontaran (updated Bred for War)
time warrior, experiment, invasion of time, two doctors. Sontaran Strategem & poison sky and Flux.
Sea Devils/Silurians (updated beneath the surface)
Sea devils, Silurians, warriors of the deep, hungry earth, cold blood, legend of the sea devils. Add the updated film version of sea devils (airing 7/12/25)
Zygons
Terror of the Zygons, Day of the Doctor, Zygons invasion, Zygons inversion
Specials/Multi Doctor Box set
All the anniversary special stories in one set
Three Doctors, Five Doctors, Two Doctors, Silver Nemesis, Day of the Doctor, Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder, Giggle, Power of the Doctor, Fiveish Doctors Reboot, Time Crash
Regeneration Updated
Blu ray version of each Doctors First and Last story.
Unearthly Child and Tenth Planet,
Power of the Daleks and War Games ( colour film and b&W original),
Spearhead from Space and Planet of Spiders
Robot and Logopolis
Castrovala and Planet of fire
Twin dilemma and ultimate for
Time of the Rani and survival/movie
Movie and night of the Doctor
Moving onto Modern Who could also do Doctor sets. Blu ray best audio and visuals.
9- 1 maybe add Scream of Shalka and Night of the Doctor and Day of the Doctor to incorporate War Doctor
10- 2,3,4, 2010 specials, Day of the Doctor
11- 5,6,7 Day of the Doctor
12- 8,9,10 Day of the Doctor

Could then also do a Modern Who Monster sets with all main appearances of the main villain/monster. Going to be the Big 3 recurring villains/monsters: The Daleks, The Cbermen, and The Master/Missy.

December 6th, 2025 - 12:17pmFor the benefit of Troughton handkerchief fans, I’ve just learned that the design also came in a brown variation. So that’s red (as seen on TV), blue, green (as seen on Radio Times covers), yellow, and brown.
