I just remember in a quote the design company said they had many new sculpts…

Hopefully they’re not all just variants of The Doctor.

I hope so as we need some monsters in this series (also humans such as Kate and osgood)

fixed by heating pin and sliding through broken joint then superglue cutting of excess works lovely. I wont let kids near it tho sharp if broken. this one is for me

I pre-ordered the 8th Doctor figure from Forbidden Planet, will I still be getting my order from forbidden planet when it is released?

This blows the 3.75 scale version out the water. Odd that the two are being released same time.

I don’t think it blows it out of the water…. I think the 3.75″ one will be one of the best 3.75″ figures made to date. I think it looks a lot like the 5.5″ one. Al Dewars photos show that!

Images like that show why 5″ action figures can’t be produced to sell at £6.99 any more…!

They never were, they were sold as £10.00 or £9.99

In the early days (series 1-4) they were

    • The Werewolf

      November 12th, 2015 - 11:04pm

Series 1-3 you mean. Series 4 was the start of £9.99 I think, unless I’m misremembering.

    • Whovastron

      November 13th, 2015 - 12:19am

      They were £7.99 in 2008

      Ah yes, that makes sense.

    • The Savage Cabage

      Sorry t’was 1-3

    • DoctorSong2016

      November 13th, 2015 - 11:13am

I’m pretty sure it was only 1-2

    • IKNDWTS

      November 13th, 2015 - 11:35am

£6.99 was the original till series 2. 3 put it up to £7.99, 4 was £8.99. Then etc.

    • The Flying Shark

      November 13th, 2015 - 7:06pm

I’m pretty sure it was £6.99 from the start of the range to series 3, £7.99 for series 4, the first classics and C&B waves, £8.99 for series 5 and classics wave 2 and £9.99 from Paradigm Daleks to series 6, and now, of course, it’s £14.99 for the collectors’ series.

Weird… there’s no neck peg. Probably just a standardised pice so wasn’t on the design or something.

Yeah I know, but it’s not in this image. Unless it’s just not very big and is blocked from view by the top of the torso.

      are they :

      is the head removable?

      is the scarf removable?

    • cyberdoctor42

      November 13th, 2015 - 7:28am

No and yes, the first was ‘does it have universal joints at the shoulders?’ and the second was ‘is the scarf removable’ so well done! You guessed one of my questions.
