Zeon Smartphone Controlled Dalek and K9 – Video

Zeon Character’s Smartphone Controlled Dalek and K9

You can keep up to date with Zeon Products via their Facebook page.

An exclusive view at Zeon Character’s new Doctor Who concepts – 2 remote controlled items that will blow your minds!

Smartphone Controlled Dalek

Featuring two modes, you can control you’re very own Dalek using your phone/tablet or let it roam by itself to conquer the galaxy. In autonomous mode the Dalek will patrol your area and when it encounters an object, it will stop and shake it’s head, before turning and resuming patrol. In user control mode, the user can drive the Dalek remotely using their smartphone or tablet device. Alongside the direct control, the user can activate features, such as firing it’s death ray gun. Like the Smartphone Controlled K-9, we will keep you updated on availability as soon as we can.

Smartphone Controlled K-9

Control your very own K-9! By simply using bluetooth, your Android or iPhone device can talk to K-9 and you can help fight against the evils of the galaxy that threaten Earth. Being a true scale model, this K-9 features moving ears, flashing keypad buttons and user controlled extending probe. The app can also be updated to add new voices and features without the user having to update the physical K-9 unit. We will keep you updated on availability as soon as we can.

I adore the fact the Dalek shaves its head when it bumps into something, as if to say no! Looking forward to seeing a K9 video. I was actually hoping they’d be the size of the large RC K9 that was released a few years back.

That Dalek in the video is smaller than I was hoping for, I’ll not buy it unless they make it in the 13″ scale OR better yet, how about 19″ to go with the bigger voice controlled Dalek’s that they made several years back!!! Bigger is always better as far as I’m concerned.

13″ or 19″ would price this out of the market for this kind of product – wont happen

also understand the word “concept” (which is an idea) this is far from the finished item using existing models to test the electronics

I would certainly be prepared to pay at least Ā£100 for it! booboo, if they don’t make an 18″ smartphone controlled paradigm dalek, do you think they’ll ever make an 18″ voice controlled paradigm dalek? It would be the best thing ever!

Will probably try and get K9, and hopefully the Dalek too, but I imagine they’ll be expensive so I doubt I’ll be able to afford both!

There’s nothing on Zeons website any expected release date as yet and full retail release or will it be a specialist shop only thing where they will charge quite a lot more than the RRP price ? Not naming those shops but they know who they are and which actor stared in a film of the sMe title.

Its a shame they used the ‘tele-tubby’ Dalek model though. The version before was a lot better.

I have never heard somebody call them Tellytubbys.
But there are 5 daleks and only 4 tellytubbys.
And some of the colours are not correct.

I personally don’t mind that it’s New Paradigm, as those are surprisingly my favorite Daleks, but I am upset about that eyestalk. Very unfortunate how inaccurately it’s turned out.

Wow I would love a K9 that not only displays well, but remote controlled by a smart phone! Thats genius, I’d love for it to follow me around. Wth todays tech, why don’t they try actually creating a K-9 interface, I bet it would work well.

Does k9 actually move or are only his its ears, nose or things on the body move?

    • booboo

      January 17th, 2014 - 12:06pm

assuming it all stays, you can move the “gun” in and out, move K9 in all direction and his ears move as well, front panel “eye” lights red and top panel has multicoloured lights flashing
