Thank you! I was wondering whether it was that 1:6 scale thing. PS: I found that on the Forbidden Planet international, they had a 1:6 scale TARDIS From the Unearthly child.

Oh ? I would like a Navy bowtie more TBH. I hoper there’s two variants. 😀

    • Lior Knight

      October 14th, 2011 - 2:31pm

Easy fix – swap the bow ties from this white shirt variant with the blue shirt figure and you get “A Good Man Goes To War” 11th Doc (blue shirt, red tie) and the white shirt blue tie variant. 🙂

    • dalek95

      October 14th, 2011 - 7:38pm

that looks like a custom they prob got the blue shirt doctor painted the shirt white and painted the bow tie red

    • McGann The Doctor.

      October 14th, 2011 - 10:57pm

Heya Lior Knight, about what you said, how does one “swap” the bowties of the DOctor figures ? I would want to make more variants

-like you said, but surely I would have to paint over the bowite, with one of my very Fine paint brushes, it’s not like you can just take it out and pin it onto the other figure ? ❗ ?

    • Dalek caan

      October 15th, 2011 - 8:14am

whats so speacil about that one i have that bow tie in real life

    • Lior Knight

      October 15th, 2011 - 10:26am

McGann The Doctor, its actually easy. 🙂

The bow ties have a tiny peg that is glued to Doctor’s collar. With soaking the figure in boiling water for couple of minutes you can easily detach the bow ties and simply glue then back however you like. 😉

    • Bowtiesarecool

      October 15th, 2011 - 11:33am

I made a ‘Good Man Goes to War’ custom myself 🙂

No though, that picture is not a custom, it was taken just after opening.

    • Mels

      October 14th, 2011 - 3:27am

When having issues with a CO order, Character told me they were expecting the next lot of new DW merch in November.

I don’t know for sure if that includes a new wave of action figures, or if they’re referring to the 12″ figure/Cybermat remote etc. But I wouldn’t be suprised if we do get more 5″ figures as well.

    • McGann is the Doctor.

      October 14th, 2011 - 9:26am

We DO need a Minotaur, and the Doctor from Sereis 6 part 2 (Closing time and the Wedding of Riversong). I would buy the new Doctor in Jacket before even looking at the other figures.

Also, some more peg-dolls I would buy. 😉

    • doctorwhofan27

      October 12th, 2011 - 11:36pm

well, that would work but he would remember it when he sees the silent in TIA/DOTM yet he doesn’t remember. But you figure adventures people don’t care about canon. Still I’d make it any doctor you have besides the eleventh.

      October 11th, 2011 - 9:55pm

Mmmm…maybe I’ll need to check again but I didnt think he has ever worn a plain white shirt. In all the episodes mentioned above, the shorts are all patterned and some aren’t even white (although from a distance, they may appear to be). I know in the shirt in the God Complex is certainly not plain white…I’ll double check the rest.

This just seems to be another weird variant that isn’t relective of a particular episode.

    • Anonymous

      October 11th, 2011 - 10:13pm

Well they cannot get the patterns right, the rough white colour is the closest we will get to the real thing.

For those of you who said he had it in TIA, You’re wrong, In TIA and DOTM He had stripes going up his shirt, he also had these stripes in The Wedding of river song. And he never had a plain white shirt, it had a Checkered Pattern (But we know that’s too much of a tiny detail to care about)

Going by the CB figures it is supposedly impossible to create a checkered pattern on figures so this is the closest we can get to the figures (although it shouldn’t really be impossible, it’s just vertical and horizontal lines at the end of the day).

Cool, but they should do either a red variant of this, or a blue variant of the Xmas set.

I’m actually going to use a very dry, Navy blue on the krismas-adventure set Doctor (a spare one) to make the Doctor from epsidoes 1+”. 😉
