The newly regenerated Fifth Doctor escapes with his companions back to the TARDIS. Suffering from post-regeneration trauma, he only narrowly manages to save the ship from destruction as it plunges back to Event One, the hydrogen in-rush that preceded the creation of the universe.
He then seeks sanctuary in the peaceful domain of Castrovalva, only to discover that it is an illusory, dimensionally paradoxical trap set for him by the Master with the unwilling aid of a kidnapped Adric.
The Doctor eventually wins the day by enlisting the help of the Castrovalvan people who, although also part of the Master’s creation, are nevertheless able to exercise free will.
The Master’s TARDIS
Whilst on the planet Traken the Fourth Doctor discovers that the Master, his long time nemesis, is trying to take control of a complex Traken bio-electronic power known as ‘The Source’. The Source would allow the Master unparalleled power, and the ability to regenerate his dying body. When the Master’s TARDIS is destroyed by the power feedback of The Source it is revealed he has another and thus he escapes to encounter the Doctor again. Their next encounter finds the Master’s TARDIS, with its fully functional Chameleon Circuit, disguised first as a Police Box and latterly on the planet Logopolis, as a sandstone Doric column. The Master’s TARDIS stayed in this favoured form during several encounters with the Fifth Doctor, before changing once again.

June 26th, 2012 - 1:49pmNo thats not true,in the thing the captured airline passengers are trying to get into, I can’t remember their names, but when the doctor and the professor gets inside, they find a couple of the Axon looking creatures shrunk. So it could be based off them, but looking at the paint job, I think its based off a logopolitan as he shrunk one of them in the previous story.

June 25th, 2012 - 9:04pmPoor Character Options dose get a bashing. This is not a Character options release. its Underground toys exclusive for Forbidden Planet. Character only make what they are asked to make for the classic series.
I do think this is lazy and messy. there are no shrunken figures in Castrovalva, the Masters Tardis lasts less than 1 min, and the Doctor takesd most of the clothes off before the midway point of episode one.

We have the doctor, we have the TARDIS, we have the master’s TARDIS, the only thing you can have from Logopolis now, is if they decide to finally release an Ainley master in his proper costume from that story, companions or a Logopolitan, maybe the monitor would be cool.

WE COULD HAVE HAD THE MASTER AND THE WATCHER IN FOR GOOD MEASURE. THE PROBLEM BEING THE EXPENSE,CHEAPER TO INCLUDE THE MASTERS TARDIS AND ACCESSORY,THAN MOULD UP TO 2 NEW FIGURES.

I think this release will end up containing a figure of the Master. Hopefully in Traken costume.

June 26th, 2012 - 1:57pmThey probably either didn’t get rights to make another figure, or didn’t make enough of them to get them out in time. So they shoved the Doctor in there and I just hope we get the proper costumed master soon.

June 26th, 2012 - 2:00pmNo really, at least we know we are getting more sets, they probably leading up to better sets besides I think the less we get this year the better. Next yeat I want to see a lot of stuff for the 50th, so I hope they save money now and put it into making good and big sets for 50th such as a Classic TARDIS set (preferably with 6 sided console) and maybe some other stuff such as McGann pb and more 8th figure variants. More companions. More Master stuff, lol.
