The Weeping Angels are alien predators who can only move when no-one’s watching… and disguise themselves as statues. In his final adventure with Amy and Rory, the Eleventh Doctor discovered that the Weeping Angels had turned New York City into a battery farm for preying on human energy… even transforming the Statue of Liberty into a giant Weeping Angel!
The only way to foil the Angels’ plot was to create a paradox big enough to poison the time-energy on which they fed. In the end, Rory opted to sacrifice himself, hurling himself from a roof as the snarling Angel of Liberty loomed overhead. Without his temporal energy, the timeline was forced to reset… and although Amy and Rory were left stranded in the past, they were at least together.
The Weeping Angel Statue of Liberty Figurine captures the likeness of the world famous statue, turned into giant Weeping Angel, as seen in the Eleventh Doctor’s adventure “The Angels Take Manhattan” (2012).

The ‘Deadly Assassin’ Doctor is great too. Hope there’s a few more Fourth Doctor ‘monsters’ still to come.

Maybe a special of the robots aswell from Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.

July 16th, 2021 - 9:35pmThey said that they had issues with my card payment for this. I have been collecting these figures since they started including specials. Never had a problem. For the first time I had to place a new order with them for this. I did this over the phone. I was told it would be sent with next subscription delivery. Looks like some kind of issues with payments for this special.

I have paid for the collection by recurring debit card transaction since the start – so I can’t see why they would have trouble knowing if I’d paid or not. I will try and rinf them on Monday. Thanks for the replies everyone.

July 16th, 2021 - 7:47pmBe persistent Alan! It took a few emails but they acknowledged payment and said it would be sent out. You could try phoning them if you have the time.
Hopefully it will arrive before the next subscription delivery but I suspect it will be included with them. Just as long as it gets to me eventually. What a palaver though!

July 19th, 2021 - 10:45amEaglemoss have emailed me back this morning and have arranged shipment of this issue so very pleased… Also had a dispatch note for issues 200 and 201 which is surprising as of late these come through after the shipment is already here… looking forward to the milestone issue 🙂

July 19th, 2021 - 11:00amRecieved Issues 200 and 201 this morning. These are my final Issues as Subscriber. the paintwork at the back of the Tom figurine was really sloppy so i rung customer services and asked for a replacement to be sent as i posted an image of the ‘damaged’ item. Also queried delayed dalek which i was told i should still recieve even though i cancelled before Issues 202 and 203, although i won,t be recieving till subscribers get theirs. Everything from the shop from now on for me but thats it on the rare free dalek front.
