I am debating whether to order this or not. Genesis of the Daleks is my favourite classic series story hands down but I think £90.00 is too much for something that is essentially just a figurine, then again it is limited.

If the figure is anything like the image I will definitely be adding to my collection I love it and think the detail is great ,I would hope theres a Molloy version to follow !

if it was a one off but so many nice models but at £50 each your looking st over £800 worth that’s a lot of money and they wont go up in value that much they should make them cheaper and less limited lol

This will be nowhere near the size of a character options figure….. it’ll be at least 5 times bigger ..havent you seen any Harrops figures….?? Any try and appreciate something made by a UK company in the UK that wll simply gain valuable and become a much sought after figure..course you could always go and live in Japan or china….please.

The character options Davros is 5.5 inch, this is 6.3 inch – which certainly isn’t five times bigger! I do appreciate well made figures, which is why I have a collection of nearly 300 Daleks but I just don’t see how this is worth £90. I got one of my 18″ voice controlled Daleks for £60, which is far better value for money. People like you seem to be brainwashed into thinking that it’s ok to pay £90 for a 6″ figure, even defending the company for no reason whatsoever!

£60 for an 18″ dalek is very reasonable, If it is something like the previous statue made with Tom baker in it leaning against Davors now that is worth £90 as it has something extra to it rather that just the solo figure. Plus sizes to vary between certain figures so they are not all the same height.

Yes I agree with you that the statue by Weta is very good, as well as the Dalek that is opened up to reveal the mutant inside! They are both very good quality and a nice size, two pieces I would love to add to my collection! 🙂

I think the price for this figurine is absolutely justifiable the reason why its so expensive is because of how difficult it is to make. It needs wax sculpts which they properly have to try again and again, then they have to do clay sculpts and then they have to use many paints like for the controls

90 quid seems perfectly acceptable for a ready made hand painted item which is simply going to increase in value from the moment you buy it. I constructed and painted the Sevans Davros years and years ago…the unmade kit cost 30 odd quid back in the eighties… and I know the effort I put in Id never dream of parting with it for 90.

I did check my facts, I wouldn’t have posted otherwise. I have a character options Davros figure here and it is more accurate in proportions than this, and yes that is a very fitting name!

+ His chair is too small and he’s had his finger nails cut! The hand is also too large, not really in proportion at all! If you’re going to charge £90 for a small figurine then it has to be absolutely perfect – this unfortunately isn’t.

I was a bit surprised by the price of this one, the membership discount does help though, it is a more substantial piece & a must have for my collection.

True but not me, £70 below would be ok for me, but £90 just no.
