The Eighth Doctor was an effortlessly charming, romantic figure. He was unguarded about his background and equally candid about what the future held for people he came into contact with.

It seems ironic that so much about this open Doctor remains a closed book…His first adventure took place in San Francisco at the turn of the Millennium with Dr Grace Holloway and Chang Lee in an epic battle with the Master.
Much later, after many adventures with many companions, the 8th Doctors fate is finally sealed during the Time War, as he attempts to rescue a pilot, Cass, whose ship was crashing into the planet Karn.
When Cass realized that the Doctor was a Time Lord and her enemy, she refused his help and allowed the ship crash.

November 28th, 2015 - 8:42amYeah but I tried cancelling something by email and they claimed not to recieve it and still sent out item and charged me. Returned and got refunded in end but was a hassle. I strongly recommend calling them.

But the only problem is, they probably won’t cancel or get back to you until Monday, so you’d probably just be better off phoning them

November 25th, 2015 - 4:49pmNot as good as it could be. I managed to pick up two at the Stockport branch on Friday. The only reason I *got* two was because of ongoing concerns about the qc. Both figures had paint marks on the face. Not so much of a problem, I’ve learnt how to get rid of them with a Swarfega wipe over my fingernail. But on one figure there’s a line/groove on the cheek coming out from the mould line, as if it’s been gripped by a metal tool whilst the plastic was still soft. On the other figure, the paint wash on one leg is noticeably lighter than on the other leg and the waist/crotch piece.
If I could easily swap the heads round I’d have one near – perfect figure, but it’s worth pointing out that the head is NOT apparently designed to easily pop off, and the neckerchief appears to be glued to the torso in front. The base of the neck I think is too wide to fit through the neckerchief, so in order to swap heads it may be necessary to not only do a boil and pop, but also to cut the neckerchief loose…which I’m disinclined to try for now. It’s a great figure, but let down a little by the quality control standards. But I realise I’m lucky to have got hold of it considering the frustrating experience other people have had.

An “in stock” email was went out at around 8am so presumably those who had signed up to that, or saw it here or on facebook took the initial batch very quickly
