DoctorWho2013
January 24th, 2014 - 8:34amSpace is a huge issue with me, so if the sculpts improve further and they Star Wars-up the packaging, then I’d be happy to buy any and all classic Doctor Who figures in this smaller scale. Either Star Wars sized backing cards or something akin to the tall and slender cards used for Macfarlene’s Walking Dead ranger would be preferred. And instead of the crappy generic logo and image of figures on the front and back give us a photographic image of each character on each figures card and a small cut out and keep bio on the back (akin to the 80s).
Tenth Doctor
January 24th, 2014 - 1:26amAnybody else a little bit more excited at the look of David Tennant’s coat in the corner?

Andrew
January 23rd, 2014 - 3:57pmEarthshock set is neede yes, brand new Adric figure with a cyberman an repaint to be cyber leader. Then the correct Ainley Master possibly from the 5 doctors if anything? Maybe with a generic timelord/president and a chancellery guard. TARDIS console room the other obvious, please character end the line, but end it with some greats!
Joe Roberts
January 23rd, 2014 - 5:27pmI also wished they released:
Celestial Toymaker
Monoid
Emperor Dalek from Evil of the Daleks
Yeti from The Web of Fear
Menoptra
Zarbi
War Machine
Fish People
Cybermen from the Moonbase
Macra from The Macra Terror
Dominator & Quark from The Dominators
Time Lord from The War Games
White Robot from The Mind Robber
Chameleon from The Faceless One
Salamander from The Enemy of the World
Seaweed Creature from Fury from the Deep
And more that is from other stories from first to seventh that haven’t yet released!
Joe Roberts
January 23rd, 2014 - 5:31pmAlso the Time Lords from The Deadly Assassin, The Invasion of Time, Arc of Infinity, The Five Doctors, Trial of a Time Lord, The End of Time and The Day of the Doctor. I love the costumes and also I like the things they wear on their backs. Actually I love the old ones because they are the best.
question mark
January 23rd, 2014 - 7:48pmI quite agree.
James Woods
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:31pmThis is NOT the end of the 5 inch classics! It is a heritage line which basically means they are making previous versions! It isn’t the end of the 5 inch figures.
Lumat
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:12pmThey’re still carrying on the classic line in 5″ but they don’t have any plans for any for a while.
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:57pmHow very feeble of them….. I could give them a few ideas hard core classics fans would cheer at……
Antonio Zambonini
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:42pmdoes this mean classics in 5 are gone
Explosive Cookie
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:44pmNo

charliec3po
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:37pmsorry, so has the 5 inch classic figure line been cancelled for good? and are the claws of axos and the daemons sets the last of the 5 inch classics?
Explosive Cookie
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:44pmNo, they aren’t.
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 9:05pmonly Underground toys can answer that
A New Dalek Paradigm
January 22nd, 2014 - 7:52pmSo the Revelation Dalek is still the wrong shape only smaller. I think I’ll pass.
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 9:59pmone mould, loads of colours, that’s what I foresee
Joe Roberts
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:21pm3.75 classic dalek figure!!! No way! I prefer the 5 inch classic! If they going to make the 3.75 classic, I am not buy anymore. This is serious! How you going to play 3.75 with 5 inch? Over my dead body!
Joe Roberts
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:25pmOh by the way, there was a picture of a genesis dalek and underneath, it says “heritage line” and I am still not sure what it is means.
The Big Friendly Button
January 22nd, 2014 - 7:18pmThis is probably for general release.
The Master
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:42pmI have to agree the 3.75″ figures are just not that great, hardly any detail in some characters like matt smith’s figure
Madmanwithabox
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:48pmIf you don’t like it don’t buy it. There’re no point in complaining!
David FutureDoctor
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:19pmAs far as I’m concerned, my money’s gonna be well spent this year. The heritage wave is an exciting concept and of course as is Capaldis first figure! U know what? Forget 5″, 3.75″ all the way!!! Theyre so collectable and very easy on the pocket, (new 5″ would cost £15+)
Pwilc1967
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:42pmIt’s not so much the pocket as the available space. I have seven/eight years worth of 5″ figures out in themed displays. There is no room left to start on 3.75…. Although they could be in perspective…. No… No…. Stop. It!
MoarCrossovers™
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:18pmRIP 5″ Figures
You were good son, real good. Mayve even the best.
Madmanwithabox
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:49pmWe are still getting 5″ classics don’t worry
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 5:44pmI thought when they released their update on moving over to 3.75 they said they wouldnt be regurgitating everything we’ve already had in the 5″ range and that it would be Series 7 onwards..? The 3.75 range lacks detail and articulation so its not really a collector range (IMO) they are definatley “toys” so why bother expanding the range into pre 11th Doctor?
Pwilc1967
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:43pmIf it’d gonna make them more money, promises will be broken…
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 5:03pmBooboo, is all the dr who stuff at the toy fair now on the site, or was there extra stuff we haven’t seen or you can’t show us?
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 5:09pmthere may have been stuff there we cant show but we wouldn’t have got to see it anyway
INJUSTICE
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:39pmThank you so much Al Dewar…… RIP 5 inch 🙁
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:45pmnothing to do with him, he would love to carry on doing them i can tell you that for sure
Dalek Smith
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:24pmI remember his disappointment when the fur coat second doctor didn’t happen
Dalekdude945
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:33pmPlease Character Options go back to the 5″ they were the best 🙁
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:36pmthey wont go back to something retailers had stopped buying
whether we like it of not the core collectors make up only a very small part of the overall sales and its not enough
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:31pmI’m hearing rumours of The Ninth Doctor being in 3.75 Scale
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:32pmif the take up from retailers is good i wouldn’t rule out anything
the mr master
January 22nd, 2014 - 6:28pmi would do ANYTHING for that 🙂
Clayderman
January 22nd, 2014 - 7:56pmAll in favour of a 12 Doctors set (3.75)? Retailing around £25 to £40 lol
Davide Edinburgh
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:09pmClassic dalek in 3.75′”? They are very confused…
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:05pmIts seems to me is that whats happened is that this company suddenly finds itself in the position of having to deal with competition from eaglemoss …hence smaller figures.
CyberSlave2014
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:04pmBooBoo any news on the 10th Doctor Suit (RARE) figure?
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:30pmno only what you see
CyberSlave2014
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:03pmCool. I really hope they release a 13 Doctors in 3.75. So that we can have all the classic doctors, john hurt and Capaldi.
Doctor Pug
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:42pmI hope they do 3.75″ and 5″ classic figures.
Dalek the Supreme
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:42pmAs great as this looks, it makes me annoyed in two ways. The first as that there are STILL no signs of metallic New Paradigm Daleks being released in this new scale despite the fact that they are more relevant to the other characters in the line, and the second is that while this is clearly intended to be the Necros Imperial Dalek, it has the eyestalk of the Resurrection Renegade Daleks.
the paternoster gang
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:44pmApparently there will be no paradigm daleks unless they appear on tye show in greater quantities.
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:49pmSurely youve had enough paradigm daleks now… Ive got wind up paradigms, a desk patrolling paradigm a torch paradigm a key ring paradigm and best of all a bargain lovely remote controlled 12 inch paradigm supreme courtesy of B & M – lets have stuff we havent had eh….like the glass dalek containing the mutating remains of arthur stengos….
Dalek the Supreme
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:59pmThe problem is that the Paradigm Daleks are the current model of Dalek alongside the Time War versions. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Supreme, Strategist, and Drone with the new metallic color and shortened rear-hatch. A glass Dalek would be cool, though.
Madmanwithabox
January 22nd, 2014 - 10:52pmI agree, i’m getting sick of the bronze models
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:39pmThe Revelation dalek is 3.75 ?? But its excellent !! Does this mean classics at 3.75 ?? Because if it does perhaps we can look forward to classic stuff ( like the yeti) at this size that from the Hartnell to Pertwee eras that they never gave us as five inch and which eaglemoss arent producing either….. HerEs to 3.75 Krotons , Yeti, Quarks, Zarbi et al.
KORSAIR
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:42pmYou’re quite right there, who (no pun intended)knows what we might be getting.
Trenzalore
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:36pmI thought classic figures would still be in 5″? It looks great but I personally feel it’s a little pointless. If this is a chase figure I will be very annoyed.
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:52pmAm I in a nightmare because I can See it coming guys! There going to to do Classic Figures in 3.75 Scale! First David Tennant and now this… Whats coming next?
drjakeyoung
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:17pmSame. I really wish they don’t!
CG
January 23rd, 2014 - 12:03amPlease keep classics 5 inch. Please!!! 🙁
The Big Friendly Button
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:42pmThat is a Necros Dalek.
KORSAIR
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:44pmTis indeed.
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:30pmthey are doing too many daleks they need to be doing madame vastra, jenny, whisperman, doctor simeon, the gunslinger, strax, snowman
booboo
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:32pmDaleks sell, besides this is part of the heritage wave or whatever it is
KORSAIR
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:35pmThey can produce as many Daleks as they like as far as I’m concerned, I just love them.
Daleks rule
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:10pmYes daleks rule so keep making them
Anonymous
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:27pmhope they still do a range of characters because if they keep doing daleks it will get boring
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:42pm3.75 classic cybermen please the Wheel in Space variant which has been ignored in the other set would be a good starter…..
The Other
January 22nd, 2014 - 7:54pmThe Daleks do seem to have monopolised the new figure range…
But I LOVE Daleks!!!! 😀 😀 😀
So they can carry on like this as far as I’m concerned; however, I would like to see an Emperor or Prime Minister to go with them seeing as they’re doing more accesories and bigger ‘toys’ to go with them
BUT… I would like to see some more variety as well, such as The Wispermen, Doctor Simeon, The Paternoster Row Gang etc…
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 8:05pmSo how big would the Emperor (Evil version) need to be to match 3.75 daleks ?? I bet they could do all sorts in scale with 3.75 figures… A war machine wouldn’t need to be as big, neither would a complete drashig…. I think if they knuckle down the 3.75 classic range could be quite good….
drwhofan130
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:24pmit looks brilliant, but I don’t think fans of the 5 inch figures are going to think the same
DOCTOR WHO ONE
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:17pmGive me 5inch any day !!.
VespiformsSting
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:45pmI collected classic 5 inch and there simply werent enough of the figures I wanted and cost was always cited as the reason. If they now start to expand the 3.75 range to include all the classic aliens we should have had and theyre as good as the ice warrior and cyberman from the new series I say good luck to em – bring em on !!….
Dalek the Supreme
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:45pmI don’t mind it too much with all the exciting releases, but I feel Underground Toys should still be able to make Classics and the occasional New Series figure for 5-inch collectors. I’m hoping for 3.75 inch Tom Baker, Elizabeth Sladen, and ‘Asylum’ Dalek Drone!
Exterminator
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:22pmAnother chase figure for the stockists to remove and sell on eBay for a fortune. 🙁
KORSAIR
January 22nd, 2014 - 2:37pmAgreed, they should do away with the whole chase/variant wave nonsense and produce equal numbers of all figures.
ahunter8056
January 22nd, 2014 - 3:31pmI couldn’t agree more. Chase figures are a stupid idea.
Radburn
January 22nd, 2014 - 4:40pmTotally agree! The Chase figures ARE pointless – The only winners with those were Stockists pulling them & Ebay scalpers – Both charging exorbitant prices! All that waffle from CO then they go & release the whole Chase set abroad. Why not just sell (14) figures? Most Collectors (Myself included) would snap up the full set, instead of all this messing about trying to get the full series…
