Longleat Doctor Who Merchandise price list
Want to know what things used to cost? This is a Longleat price list from the 1990′s who once had a large Doctor Who exhibition.Taking into account inflation prices today would be approximately double those of 1990 so a video would cost about £20, more than a DVD today and no special features!

My Tomb Of The Cybermen VHS has a bonus feature. It has interviews with the people who made it. However in general VHS don’t have special features but I still love them.

It’s interesting to see the releative price drop in Doctor Who ‘video’ releases.
Sadly, stand-alone Doctor Who DVD’s still cost $30 – $40 retail in Australia (more for Blu-ray), about the same as VHS tapes used to cost here years ago. o_O For some reason, we’ve just never been very competitive with video prices, and they haven’t gotten much cheaper as time goes by. (The series 6 blu-ray box set was $150 here – or almost £100).

*Series 5 was $150 I meant. The series 6 blu-ray was actually released at $120… I guess that’s better than nothing.

does anybody think we will get more series 6 figures since theres a massive gap between the 2 series since its being aired in autumn.
