Doctor Who Time of the Daleks Board Game

For more information visit www.gf9games.com

In Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks, players take on the role of the Doctor, travelling throughout time and space, finding new companions and having adventures to repair the web of time.

Players do this by overcoming challenges. The Doctor can overcome most challenges he encounters, but he always needs his Companions to help give him an edge.

Players must cooperate to stop the Daleks, while trying to get their TARDIS to Gallifrey first, to prevent Davros from invading the Matrix in the first place.

Duration: 2 Hours

I got the chance to play this at Birmingham Game EXPO and all The Doctors were on display in the shelf, I believe that they are all available to play as. Including the War Doctor.

To further get you to part with your £50 for this game, the first print run only, will include a K9 Figure & Card Promo

Further to this: I’ve been told the first print run will have a sticker attached mentioning/identifying the K9 Figure & Card Promo

I wonder if this will be one of those games, like risk which will be reduced to £5!

I wonder if that plan includes building a wall, and making the Time Lords pay for it…

Considering it’s costing £50 I’m certainly waiting for the price to drop before I fork out for it!

This looks cool but do you remember the days when board games were generally 90% Board. I can’t call this a board game. Sorry…

Never a fan of these board games
I can’t stand them and the artwork looks a bit lazy in places

Especially how the Fifth Doctor has his celery on the wrong side of his coat on the cover

It was most likely a flipped image, like when we see Daleks with their weapons the wrong way round

Each individual piece of artwork is fabulous, but it feels like they thought that, so they’ve plonked about three different pieces together with a few fades. Pretty lazy. Day of the Doctor, Asylum of the Daleks and the general Series 5 TARDIS promo are all existing images. Then 12 has been added on top and his angling is all wrong. I might be being picky, but would have been nice for completely new graphics.

It would seem as though there are only Doctors 1,4,5,10,11,12 which is a shame

Yeah, I wish it had the all the Doctors (Especially the Seventh Doctor) playable, that would have been awesome.

On the box it says there is 20 plastic playing pieces, so there could be more doctors in the box.

Do we have any idea how long afters the games release that the other Doctor expansions will be released, and in what format (e.g. one expansion for all the Doctor’s, or an individual expansion for each Doctor?)
