    My understanding is
The 1st edition of this boxset:- has the design and artwork as shown in the product description with the front cover of the outer box being a 3D lenticular image.
The 2nd edition of this boxset:- which were made and distributed after the 1st batch (production run) had run out which would also be when the item was no longer new out and now sold slightly cheaper. This edition is identical in terms of design , artwork and content and has the same id numbers. However this edition does not have a lenticular front cover image but instead a standard colour image.

This is standard practice as when the selling price starts to drop it means a small saving can also be made on the cost of its production.
This was the same case for the series 2 and 5 box sets.

Interestingly I believe the two editions can also be identified by the “FSC” certificate on the rear. Located immediately above the barcode. The 1st edition has it; the 2nd doesn’t.

Please comment if you’ve spotted any other differences between editions.

Is there a standard image version now? If as I might swap it out as i’m not keen on the lenticular.

Yes. If you purchase a NEW copy it will be standard printed NOT lenticular. Amazon. Hmv. Zavvi. No problem. Bear in mind any smaller retailers with still hold old stock and could sell new 1st editions. If you stick to one of the big retailers though you’ll be fine.
