To all the people who don’t like the character selection. They tend to do 2 waves of figures that have a different selection of characters. If you look at the Adventure time and Guardians of the Galaxy Funkos you can see that.

The way that they sell these sort of items is they look at who is the most relevant at the time, and also who is the most sellable. So, Peter and Matt are the most relevant Doctor’s at the moment, and Tom and David are the most sellable – being the most popular Doctors within the community of Who fans.

Now, Jon will be brought out – eventually. I can’t see it being in the next wave, I feel that the next wave will be more likely to have Christopher, William and John, but that’s just an estimated guess really. I could be wrong.

I really want a Sylvester McCoy one, but they won’t be releasing him anytime soon because he is, sadly, neither relevant at the moment, nor a very popular Doctor – but I’m happy to wait for when he is released.

    • Trenzalore

      March 17th, 2015 - 4:30pm

I think they’d be better off making this wave then moving on to another project – Funko seem to have done that with previous collections and these look like they’ll get a little boring after a while. Plus not sure many will be getting the full collections – just maybe their favourite characters (like I’m just getting 11th Doctor) and this set covers quite a wide enough range.

      April 11th, 2015 - 5:39pm

They do the most recognised characters first. Anyone who watched the classic Doctor Who episodes is sure to agree that Tom Baker was the most recognisable Doctor. Probably out of all the Doctors (maybe apart from Tenant.)

They do the most recognised characters first. Anyone who watched the new Doctor Who episodes is sure to agree that David Tenant was the most recognisable of the four Doctors.

I’d like to see a War Doctor at some point. Not sure how well an older actor would look with the Pop figures looking like 2 year olds. I remember the Emperor from Star Wars looking good.

No articulation…. On some, the heads move. I was told The TARDIS door does close but there is no picture inside of the Console. It’s just blank or “screen accurate”. These are great. I live in the states and have been collecting these for awhile now…. You won’t be disappointed In these.

The computer picture of the TARDIS has the doors closed, so I’m sure you can open/close at least one. If anything, I’d rather have them stuck closed than open.

Ok…Ok….I give in, these look too cool to ignore.. but I’m only going to collect the TARDIS and one variation of each Doctor they release.

I like how, besides the SJA sticker, the TARDIS is a caricature representation so could actually be used alongside any Doctor (providing 2-10 stand in front of the sticker).u

The Dalek and Adipose just look like the Titans figures so cant see the point in them.

The Cyberman and Angel look good but I am going to refrain from getting them.

Oh I see the St. John’s Ambulance on the door, but the rest of the tardis looks like 9/10’s

    • DM

      February 16th, 2015 - 9:43pm

Actually, because of the St. John’s Ambulance sign on the door, it IS 11/12’s TARDIS. I would’ve preferred 9/10’s TARDIS instead since the 9th and 10th Doctor are my most favorites. In fact, I wish they made two TARDIS’; 9/10’s TARDIS and the other 11/12’s TARDIS and people decide which they want to buy.

    • Taro

      February 18th, 2015 - 5:37am

yeah, it seems like a mixture of the two. though you could just put 10 in front of the sticker and it would like like his TARDIS.

They’re quite nice. Not so keen on the Adipose though, it’s a bit basic and not exactly a very iconic character. Would’ve been nicer to see a Clara figure so we can display her with the 11th or 12th Doctor along with the TARDIS

I’d hardly describe the Weeping Angels as cute… all the other characters are iconic to the show but the Adipose are just a bit obscure. It’s as if they’ve never watched Doctor Who and just Googled ‘Doctor Who monster’ to see what would be easiest to make.
