I can confirm, from CO themselves, that the time rotor does not move. 
But they did say that the scanner moves around manually.

I hope it does have eletronics but i doubt that they will make a classic series console even though i want one I dont think the tardis console has eletronics but never mind. More scene re-creation or making your own scenes and episodes

there arent any lights and sounds, character are a big company and if they said it had no lights and sounds and it did, thats false advertising which is illegal and there is no point in saying it has none when it actually does because that could damage sales!

this is the best but one of the worst tardis because good bits its good because it is bigger so theres more places to put your figures and theres more back ground cause one the old one (2005-2010) there was only a bit at the front and some people made more back ground but good for people who did not cause this one they don’t have to its bad cause it does nothing a tall but i would still get it

I’m gonna get this in Argos, due to the exclusive figure. I asked in my store when they’ll be stocking this, and they told me in around three weeks. I much prefer the Ninth/Tenth Doctors’ TARDIS Playset. It looks much bigger, and much more accurate.

Although I did plan to get the 11 doctors set by getting it by myself. But I don’t mind what I get really. i just got an email from character saying no sounds and lights – already known hope this helps they will also be filmimg a construction video to show how to assemble the set (so it might be quite hard to build) and again hope this helps

In the end of the eleventh hour when the 11th doctors screwdriver came out of the tardis. Do you think that the slot will be on the playset so you can put the sonic in so you dont lose it. If there is i hope the slot isnt too big because the sonic might fall in and you wont be able to get it out.

although it does not have lights or sounds it has the doctors swing (which can come in very handy some time!) it has stairs leading to places and it looks as if all of it (apart from a little bit of the wall) is made out of plastic unlike the last TARDIS playset which fell to peices as soon as you put it up! And also unlike the last TARDIS playset it has the area underneath the TARDIS console. im not sure about you but i think its a great idea having the stairs leading to no where because (if like me and love making custom) you can make your own areas attached to the stairs. i.e. the chest(amys choice), the balcony or your own rooms. I cant wait

I Love How Theres 4 Stairs and they captured the idea of there being loads of stairs. One Going Down To The Swing And The Heart Of The Tardis, One Going Down Into The Hole On The Left Hand Side Of The Set, One Going Up With The 2 Beams and one by the door that goes down though another hole. It actually has atleast 6 stair cases. You can actually see 5 on there.

does that say 12″ No its 42cm, the Argos image looks like it an earlier promo image as there are other bits missing from it that are on the new one we got yesterday. The Argos catalogue is planed weeks/months in advance so that me be the only image that was available when it went to print

I’m sorry if I offend anyone by saying this, but I think this version of the interior of the Tardis is HIDEOUS. The old interior playset is far superior and at least it had sfx sounds. I would rather spend the money on buying my son more figures for his collection. Does anyone know where there may be a definitive list of all the who figures that have been made available to buy?

Hey! Woudn’t it be great if there was like an easter egg button. And when you press it it says “Scilence will Fall!”. For those who are not clear on what an easter egg is (I mean the type I’m talking about! Not the chocolate ones! ) an easter agg is like a hidden extra. Which you don’t know about and that’s not in the instruction books and stuff. You have to find it! It’s an extra which no one knows is there unless you accedentily find it. One side is made of cardboard and the other is plastic! The reason is that the plastic bit has a room that wil probally lead your figure outside the playset and the cardboard one has a room but it is blocked. The stairs make the playset more realistic! Soon it will be mine!

If you look really closely you can see the Cyberman is missing the bar on the Left hand side of its head. Seems this is intended to be the Pandorica Opens Cyberman. Maybe the Left arm and Head are detatchable?

They’ve missed out vital details on the Tardis. The wires dageling from the top of the central collum, the boucony on the edge and It should have a bigger base and wider stairs. And where’s the coat stand? The Cyberman figure should feature a removable head the arm, like it was in The Pandorica Opens.

This (like the TV version) is awful. Its not a patch on the previous TARDIS control room. This one relies too much on cardboard and looks cheap – so obviously produced during a mjor recession.
Save you money and wait for this to come down drastically in the sales.
