Ordered a whole box ! I must be nuts, or was it the fact series 3 was so hard to track down in the shops ( I’m in Aberdeenshire ) as the only place to buy them up here that I could find was the Aberdeen forbidden planet. they still have series 1 and 2 ( 2 for £3) and the Aberdeen JohnLewis has series 1 & 2 for £1.34 each.

A collector here who has seen many classic episodes, but still has a lot more to go. I want to know exactly what I’m buying by working out which episodes these Doctors are based from. Please correct me if I’m wrong

    First – An Unearthly Child
Second – The Wheel in Space (?)
Third – Planet of the Spiders
    Fourth – Season 18
    Fifth – Season 21
    Sixth – Real Time
Seventh – The Curse of Fenric
Eighth – Doctor Who Magazine comics
Ninth – Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways
    Tenth – Series 2 (?)
Eleventh – The Rebel Flesh/The Almost People

Slight correction to that list – the Third Doctor is from Invasion of the Dinosaurs, I think, as I seem to remember it’s the only story he wore a bright blue outfit in! All the others look correct, though. = )

Actually, I think it is from Planet Of The Spiders, as in Invasion Of The Dinosaurs he wore a checked cape thing similar to the one from The Five Doctors.

The tenth Doctor wore that particular outfit many times between “The Christmas Invasion” and “The End of Time part two”.

Third Doctor is Invasion of the Dinosaurs, he doesn’t wear a cape for the whole thing.

      3. Jon Pertwee
      4. Patrick Troughton
      5. Tom Baker

      7. Colin Baker
      8. David Tennant
      9. William Hartnell

I love all of them. Ecclestone was amazing and really made the start of the new series in style. David Tennant was………..really good! I liked it when he changed into Matt Smith! Matt smith is brilliant and its a shame he’s leaving! I love them equally as much!

The previously released one was the blue suit. The brown coat and suit combo is best though. I hope that one is one of the more common ones. I reckon the 1st doctor will be rarest. I reckon the more modern doctors will be most common and the older ones will be rarer.

Actually, at the time this series in its early stages of production, that Doctor wasn’t known. The super rares would have been already been decided at the beginning of the year.

It’s like how the logo you see on these packets was pretty much designed last year, but most products released carried the 2010 logo because they were almost finished in their development stages before the 2012 logo was revealed.
