Heading up the range is a number of articulated figures that will be perfect for collectors. Set in the classic 5.5 inch scaling each perfectly replicates some of the favourite characters, past and present, from the show.

Fans of the Tenth Doctor will also be keen to get their hands on The Ninth and Tenth Doctor’s TARDIS Playset. With its motorised time rotor and pulsating lights this is the ultimate playset and has an illuminated console with six control buttons, removable floor panels and flip up console panel.

It is possible to fit it inside the big chief tardis diorama?

No. Way to different of scales… why would you want to do that? It won’t fit in the Big Chief Tardis at all!
(Unless you just want the time rotor piece… and then YES, it will fit but it will be WAY too small)

So glad they re released it. I dropped my first one and the lights and sounds Stopped working. Getting the new one for my birthday, I think they will
upgrade the 11th doctor console room then they will do 12 then with the money they will probaly go back and do the classics. I hope any way.

Oh, how I would love a Twelfth Doctor’s TARDIS. As well as an eighth Doctor’s TARDIS and a fourth’s…

Though something that they could do ti create a classic TARDIS is repaint the junkyard TARDIS, and change the cardboard background, and bam! They’ve got a 1st Doctor’s TARDIS

They don’t though. The Junk console is massively different to the classic consoles.

they should of made a 11th/12th tardis console room because we have already seen the tenth doctors console. also they should of added the hand in jar or an exclusive extraporlater accessory.

The Hand in Jar came with one of the Captain Jack figures (I’ve not been able to find it), but the Extrapolator would be nice to have as an accessory as it was never made.

Alright, this is wierd, First I posted the original comment but it said ‘Dupe comment detected’ but my comment wasn’t there, but when edited the original (which wouldn’t post) and posted it, it appeared. Some sort of site glitch or problem on my side of things?

Even though we have already seen this… Americans that just got into Doctor Who never had a chance to get the original one can get it now! It seems that these were geared toward the American audience since the original one was never released in the States and thats one of the reasons why we have this. They wouldn’t have given a 11/12 Tardis cause it would have cost money to produce new parts. With this they can just re issue it and then sell it!! More profit!

      February 26th, 2017 - 6:25am

I don’t think it was ever released in Aus either, because everyone I know who has it bought it online. So it’s a chance for many Aussies to get it, too.

What is it with Character and typos. The other day the 12th Doctor was the 11th, now it’s the 10th TARDIS Eletronic. For starters, it’s 9/10th DOCTORS TARDIS and there’s a C in electronic. Do they not check before they post?

Today I was putting building up my character opinions TARDIS play set and I’ve found one difference so far. Underneath the removable panels are now done in a green see through plastic, so I guess when it’s lit up it glow green! When before it was just a grey plastic, this is a little difference, but a great difference! I’m sure this is a difference!

It would be horribly large though if it were to be to scale. Granted brilliant for Collectors who have the space, but as booboo has said there is little demand for large toys, that’s why playsets are rarer nowadays
Plus obviously it would be extra costs too.

We definitely need a release of the newest console room. AND MAKE IT ACCURATE. No 2010 cop outs.

I actually would like to get this again as my original has become rather worn from play etc

No way!! That would cost way too much and if they haven’t made it by now… forget it!!
Maybe in 10 to 12 years like the 10th Doctor in tux figure everyone wanted! Lol

    • The Outcast

      February 18th, 2017 - 11:49am

There’s a small possibility, I mean, they did model the main console section, so if they upscaled it…
I personally think they’ll do the 1963 Console room if they do another TARDIS playset, since a variation of the 1963 Console room in Hell bent and they could also take the console and give that a repaint and some green LEDs and and do an Inferno Console.

I have a suspicion that this won’t be on Toys R Us? Since it’s in Fp.com for the first time in ages, so presumably a new deal with the, and Fp.co.uk too. Shame, I much prefer to enter the shop to purchase my figures to check them

I feel they missed an opportunity with this (heh, CO missing an opportunity, that’s never happened before)
They COULD have included a fully articulated 10th Doctor Figure with this set as an exclusive. It would boost sales because you wouldn’t be able to get it anywhere else and people who are 50/50 about getting this re-release would have more of a motive to buy it.
    Just my opinion

Original release was £39.99 and the 11th Doctor’s was £49.99.

I think this is reasonably priced. Presumably made in much smaller numbers than last time, for collectors rather than for kids to play with.

      January 22nd, 2017 - 10:00am

”No sir, All 120!” All joking aside, I would love a Twelfth Doctor control room. However I think it is unlikely they will ever do one due to the cost of creating and producing one. I think that if we were to get another console room playset, it would be of the ‘Hell Bent’ design (Classic console with a Nu-Who twist) as that could also be used as a 1963/original console room playset and the console could be turn in to an ‘Inferno’ version (With a change of light colour and a repaint). That is the way they could get the most money.
