Gordon Archer was the artist behind most of the Weetabix promotions during the 1970s and 80s. His distinctive style, using fine lines and inks, proved influential during that era and inspired budding artists in years to come.

As part of the 1975 Weetabix promotion, the cards that bore these characters were collected and traded by children in playgrounds across the country.

Some were lucky enough to have kept them while most lost the cards over the years. Either way, Gordon hopes you’ll enjoy his iconic artwork once again.

Thanks for promoting this website and artwork. I’ve snapped up a DW mug and couldn’t resist a ST: TMP movie poster too. Fantastic!

I’ve just received delivery of a set of 1975 replica figure cards (in a miniature Weetabix box!)… I’m very happy with them! I can see me buying a few more things from Jon.

(Jon, if you’re looking at these posts, just wanted to say great job..!)

I’d sooner eat newspaper than Weetabix but it’s very very nice seeing something from ye olden days.
