The time/deep breath regeneration set could have:

11th doctor in purple coat, Old 11th doctor, 12th doctor in purple coat, normal 12th doctor.

Another good one would be a revival regenerations set: 8th doctor (night of the doctor), War in 8’s costume, War doctor, 9th in war clothing, 9th doctor, 10th in 9th’s clothing, 10th doctor, 11th in brown suit, 11th (day), Peter Capaldi Purple, 12th doctor normal.

What would be cool is if they do a couple of five figure sets like the action figures sometimes receive. They could do one for Day and One for Time to begin with. A Regeneration pack of doctors would be good from time.

The day of the doctor one could have: 11th doctor (purple coat with black waistcoat and polka dot tie, with fez?), 10th doctor in Brown suit, War Doctor, moment rose and Clara (day Outfit)
Regen one could have aged 11,purple coat 11, purple coat 12 and normal 12.

This has to be my favourite wave so far! S1 was good but a bit basic. S2 was a bit too random. S3 was also good but some characters/ costumes a bit too obscure and it was too rare. 50th was too rare and there was only one character (!) Brix wave was too re-released, but this time they have got it really right and I hope it is easier to find as it could be a good fresh start.

Managed to buy a 36 pack case at Forbidden Planet Wolverhampton today, got full set of 12 out of them, all good! Think Jenny will likely appear in a future Wave 5.War Doctor and Vastra the least in number in the case, lot of Daleks and Cybermen.

Will you be selling the others? Also overall how many Capaldi’s did you get?

    • Kmyler

      August 1st, 2014 - 8:41pm

3 capaldis of the blue design and 2 of the other. Still undecided yet re selling will decide very soon only one war doctor and vashta in my case. Might try to swap to get second full set.

how many of the other figures? I usually buy a box of them

    • Kmyler

      August 2nd, 2014 - 12:51pm

      6 Ironside Daleks
      6 Cybermen
      4 Zygons
      3 Peter Capaldi Blue Coat
      2 Peter Capaldi Brown Coat
      3 Oswin
      2 Clara
      3 Strax
      3 Matt Smith
      2 Jack Harkness
      1 War Doctor
      1 Madame Vastra

      and a Partridge in a …sorry couldn’t resist.

Also… If you put the Capaldi Head on the Strax Body, you appear to have the Capaldi Victorian Collar and Tie costume he appears to be wearing in the latest trailers for Deep Breath…would like to see Jenny and a Time Lord in Gallifrey costume if they ever do a Wave 5…

      Thanks for this info.

Almost perfect mix, I would have added a Vastra for one of the Oswins, the Silurians never seem to have done well out of CB, still waiting for my masked Silurian Warrior army building pack.

There is a little comic book shop in town here in Colchester called Ace Comics that seem to have everything before Argos and had the last five waves of CB (inc brix). I think I might try there tomorrow. Whsmith are unlikely to and argos don’t. Its odd though. They released that big argos catalogue a few days ago but no CB In there and now suddenly we have a new wave and character still won’t announce anything properly. Seems a bit poorly handled to me.

Ive heard no more super rares since the switch to the brix.

    • BRick

      August 1st, 2014 - 11:33am

Obviously, whether there are Super Rares in Series 4 will have been determined by CO already. Given that Display Brix are full proof random purchases, perhaps the need to tempt extra purchases has passed.
I was never against the idea of Super Rares, just the extent of their rarity, I think a minimum of 1000 items would be much more readily supported.

    • booboo

      August 1st, 2014 - 11:35am

they might get extra purchases if they told people they were out

    • BRick

      August 1st, 2014 - 11:42am

Having said that, in the spirit of the comment:

Red faced and vested Crimson Horror-ed Eleventh Doctor
      Black Veiled Madame Vastra
      Wooden Cyberman
      Mid-regeneration War/9th Doctor

      And…

Night of the Doctor 8th Doctor

    • Hellbelly

      August 1st, 2014 - 8:15pm

Doesn’t look like there’s any super rates BUT it seems you only get ONE of the rates per box, so it’s either the War Doctor OR Madame Vastra, not both (Previously if you got a full box you got at least one of each figure).
Personally I think that’s even more annoying than super rares.
