I’d love this as a watch. Imagine going to school and someone asks for the time and you roll your sleeve up to show a vortex manipulater and get the time from that! XD haha

Nothing – Except the packaging. The original release came out & disappeared off the shelves. In the UK it is a hard-to-find rarity. This version has now been re-released in the US with new branded packaging.

Although I dought it will happen, does anyone know if the 1/4 scale remote control K9 will be re-released as well?

Nothing has been announced to my knowledge. It is probably highly unlikely, since a K9 toy probably wouldn’t sell as well as say – a re-released dalek toy.

If it were to happen, it would most likely occur next year during the anniversary. I wouldn’t count on it though, since CO seem to be having issues.

I do happen to have the 1/4 scale K9 myself, and I highly recommend it if you are able to find one. πŸ˜€

I don’t mind the re-releases, but as of yet they have not re-released anything I would want or donot already have.

Why not re-release the 11 Doctors set with afew variants CO ? BooBoo gave me that idea ! ❗

Okay, firstly I want the 6th Doctor (my favourite Doctor) to have his big hair from 1986, and to wear either his outfit from Mysterious planet (red waistcoat with green chains and a turquoise tie) or his outfit from Mindwarp (Red waistcoat with pink chains and red tie).

And I want the Eighth Doctor to have either the beige trousers/waistcoat/cravat from the movie or the blue version of his outfit from “The Flood”.

As for the 7th Doctor, needless to say I want the cream jacket with a more accurate scarf and different face with the hat ❗

This is great as if the 9th and 10th dr era is now become classic and 5″ classic figures are not changing that can mean there may be some new figures from the 9th and 10th dr series πŸ™‚

wouldn’t hold you breath on brand new 9th/10th figures for some time

    • iknownewdrwhotoys2

      October 28th, 2012 - 11:51am

There should be some figures- classics are staying 5” and are being commissioned by UT who are classing them as classic so yeah!
Although yeah, don’t hold your breath.
I mean, what exclusive packs cold be released from their era… Wouldn’t want re-releases of VOTD (Voyage of the Damned) sets and stuff, but it’d be good if they tweaked them maybe…

  • Tardis’nt

    October 28th, 2012 - 8:24am

i thought that they said the 9th and 10th doctors were not classic? but its great to see that they are (well, at least one of them) so hopefully more figure sets are on the way, dalek, slitheen and auton ones would be nice! πŸ˜€

      October 28th, 2012 - 11:53am

From what has been said it sounds increasinly like Al Dewar had made a slip up with his words and what he was meaning to say wasn’t that the 9th and 10th Doctors aren’t classic, but rather that they aren’t in the classic range yet.

  • David Edinburgh

    October 28th, 2012 - 4:11am

They are so messy with the merchandising, they just can’t find peace. What is this now? 9th and 10th doctor classic???

      October 28th, 2012 - 6:57am

I see your point; we have 4th Doctor just released in the 8″ Masterpiece bust collection with a 11th Doctor logo, and now for the first time a 9th Doctor new series item has the classic McGann logo. Following this convention then 10th Doctor also belongs to the classic era suddenly.

It would have been more understandable if they had adopted the revised McGann 50th Anniversary logo, then we could have accepted the migration.
