Exiled to Earth, this sophisticated and elegant Doctor was more of a pure scientist than his predecessors, surrounded by gadgets and vehicles.

But whether aiding UNIT against invasions or travelling to distant planets, his kindness and belief in peace was rarely stronger. After returning a jewel to an irradiated cave on an alien planet, the Doctor’s body was so badly damaged he had to regenerate once again…

the only one out of stock in 8th doctor all others are in stock and they didnt mange this badly, you have to understand how demand and supply works they are not going to saturated the market they need to keep it on slightly low supply so that demand will be high

I have enough money to buy another one of these sets, all of them are instock at my T.R.U. I already have the 8th and the tenth and second I already own the seperate components. So which one should I get? which one would you choose?

Now this is a fantastic set! If you don’t have it, then buy it quickly! The Dalek may not look as invisible as it does in the promo pictures, but it looks great! 🙂

Excellent set. The Third Doctor is great, if not 100% accurate. The Dalek is very effective and unique. All thats depriving this set from top marks is the lack of an accesory i.e. sonic screwdriver or a can of spray paint. 4/5

Managed to get hold of the Tenth online the other day. It was dispatched this morning, so I can’t wait for it to come!

If you really do want the Tenth, I’d advise you to sign up to the stock alert online. That’s how I manged to get in quickly and order the sets I wanted.

@ THE ERGON – Not necessarily. If these are indeed exclusives, it doesn’t mean that they are limited edition. TRU could (if they wanted to) produce these until they have saturated the market whilst they are still maintaining the products exclusivity.

Surely though, if they are exclusive, that in its own wording makes them limited. At TRU wakefield, they,ve loads of the other docs but still no sign of 8th and 3rd doctor exclusives.

People should contact character options and let them know what they think of their Toys R Us exclusivity policy. It’s a bloody shambles IMO.

Cant believe people are still waiting for these.Admittedly they have been in short supply in the shops but they should have been prepared for the influx of orders when they put they were in stock. My next wait is for the hide and angels take manhattan sets and when there ready ‘the snowmen’ set?

It would just seem better for TRU to wait until they have significant numbers in stock before they re – list online.

This in – and – out of stock in less than an hour is truly ridiculous, and it’s happened, what, 5 or 6 times over the last fortnight?

Utterly sick of TRU now. No 8th in stock of course, but it said 1st and 3rd were in, so picked both, then by the time I placed the order it told me there were no 3rd left. Decided to order the 1st on its own even though it won’t be free delivery, as at least there is the weekend discount, but then it crashes and puts me back at the order page, so I gave up. I got the 11th in the Stevenage store last week, I don’t hold out much hope for the others. Dreadful. And if you’re buying multiples to sell on eBay then I think you are a $**£.

I’ve rang and visited the Liverpool store several times and they suggested two times to try on their delivery dates and they still only have 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th doctor sets in stock. Hopefully they will eventually get this set though.

Asking for this one and 8th doctor one for christmas! Hope they’re back in stock around then! I may order the fourth or eleventh now though as it says they’re in stock. Should I order them before they’re out of stock or are they not worth it?

I’d say the 11th is worth it, but then I didn’t buy the original Strategist – I never liked the flat blue colour. But it looks really impressive with the metallic paint job, and you get more Dalek for your dollar with the Strategist. As with the other Paradigm Daleks, he’s a big ol’ boy.

Can’t really speak for the 4th set; I found that the easiest of all the sets to pass on. Best advice is, if you like ’em and can afford ’em, buy them online while you can. Otherwise you might find the only way to get them is by paying scalpers silly money.

It was a ‘invisible’ dalek, but it was spray painted to be shown fully, so the bottom is a bit of the invisibility showing.

1st with Supreme Dalek (always liked a Dalek in black).
8th with Dalek Alpha (arguably now the most unique of all the classic Daleks).
11th with Paradigm Strategist (looks beautiful with the metallic finish).

I haven’t bought any of these sets, so I’m here for some help.

If you had to choose 3 of them to buy, which 3 would they be?

You can include the ones that say out of stock as hopefully they’ll be back in by Christmas.

11th Doctor and Metallic Strategist Dalek.

Agree with “I Ended the Time War”

      1st 8th – it is a totally new figure
2nd 3rd – it is a totally new paint job and my one is completely different from Booboos, suggesting some uniqueness and variability
3rd probably 11th it is a new paint effect, there may be others on par with this like 4th with detached gun stalk, but once you shove it in, it is similar to previous ones. They all vary to some extent

      I would say

      1) 3rd doctor – it’s a rare dalek and doctor variant wich would both look brilliant on display ( in or out of packet,I personly keep my figures in)

      2) 5th doctor – 2 fresh looking figures and both just have that glamorus apeal!

      3) 7th doctor – my personal fav!

    • Dalek sec

      November 7th, 2013 - 12:16pm

10th for making the bronze dalek look more realistic, and because I haven’t got the end of time 10 doctor sculpt yet, 4th haven’t got any version of the 4th doctor and I cannot resist those awesome genesis Daleks. Also because it’s the only set with a screwdriver. 8th because the dalek is brilliant and not canon.
