As far as anyone knows Character don’t have the licence for the Cushing movies, Product Enterprise do (or at least did).

Does anyone else think it would be awesome to keep these in their boxes? How much more value would these have in say 50 years, if we kept them in the boxes? I onyl say this, because I don’t like wasting the packaging, especially when its nice, im almost tempted to buy two of each set, just to keep one boxed?? Any ideas?

Yeah, good idea!!! as long as your not waisting money and then regretting it. i couldn’t keep any of them in packaging mainly because im 11 and also, toys are meant to be played with.

I like the look of the Dalek, very much so.

However, I’m a bit miffed that they didn’t retool Pertwee’s jacket to be more accurate to the story. I know this would cost more, but even if they didn’t do the jacket, they could of least have made the tie more of an accurate colour – more purple than green.

    These are just my nitpicks.

So how’s the 3rd Dr set doing? I think it’s either a Dalek inside a Ice Cube or a Dalek from the comic version

I reckon it could be the Supreme Dalek from the comics, the gold one with the large spherical dome, multiple dome lights and shorter skirt section.

I know roughly what its planned to be, but until everything goes into final production it isn’t fair to say in case there is a change of plan at the last minuet, plus, to be honest, its not for me to say anyway.

I haven’t seen it but assuming it goes ahead it will not be like any other 5″ Dalek you have bought before.

Its one of those things i would imagine the best way to tell everyone what it is is to show them a picture of it rather than try to describe it!

I am assuming at this stage the 1st anyone will see of it is on the Toys R Us Facebook page.

No new tooling has left me puzzled as to what it can be.
The Red Dalek in the picture of the poll is that the actual one or a mock up?

    • gndhruvesh

      May 7th, 2013 - 2:26pm

well I recall no red ones in Planet… the ‘a’ on that red’s dome may indicate Dalek Alpha of the three friendly “human-factored” Daleks from Evil? but again they weren’t red. ..could be a comic-strip-based thing 😀

    • gndhruvesh

      May 7th, 2013 - 2:27pm

      Children of the Revolution

No as the Dalek is gonna be from Planet of the Daleks not Death of the Daleks

    • AlphaOmega

      May 5th, 2013 - 5:27pm

Doubt it’d be the invisible Dalek that the Doctor and the Thals spray painted, either…

    • AlphaOmega

      May 5th, 2013 - 6:12pm

Wait…I wonder if this has anything to do with the Red Top Dalek…

It’s not part of Planet, of course, but still…

    • Nelsonator

      May 5th, 2013 - 6:15pm

    • thedaleksdeath

      May 5th, 2013 - 8:44pm

It says 3rd doctor and Dalek from Planet of the Daleks

    • Dalek the Supreme

      May 7th, 2013 - 3:36pm

Maybe it’ll be a repaint of the Supreme as a non-canon version. Maybe Garrin from the Second Empire comic? Probably not, but one can dream…

It may be like a heat and reveal dalek when you rub it the colours show up like when the doctor sprayed the dalek at the end of part 1 of Planet of the Daleks.

    • Andrew

      April 28th, 2013 - 6:20pm

That sounds great but complicated, they could however just mold an invisible dalek with grey on the dome like its been sprayed on. Like ruining the invisible effect.

    • josh smith

      April 29th, 2013 - 6:43am

id raather a normal grey dalek since they havent been released yet

    • Dalek The Supreme

      May 4th, 2013 - 2:55pm

The normal grey Dalek has been released many times, the first Dalek Collector’s set, the Genesis of the Daleks Collector’s set, and the SFX Dalek. Maybe they’ll have an all grey Dalek like they’ve been completely sprayed over.
