5 issue mini-series, coming out weekly, with 3 variants of each respective issue’s cover.

I gotta say as much as I love the War Doctor, they really should have included the 9th instead seeing as he actually has his own Titan (mini)series…
This being 2015, and the so-called ‘finale’ of all the other comic series, they really should’ve used him 🙁

I’m guessing Hurt will have some sort of special significance. Originally this was only going to feature the three main Doctors that Titan cover, so my guess is that this will surround an event during the Time War or something like that

They never give love to the 9th Doctor. It’s like they almost wish he didn’t exist. They should have included him over the War Doctor.

I’m over the moon about this. Cornell! War Doctor! AWESOME!
Now they should just solicit the hardcover (since I only buy those) but that’s probably gonna be released after the 3rd volume of the 10th or 11th Doctor’s book (which gonna collect issue 15), so probably in December.

Delighted they’re doing photo variant covers – I have all the issues released so far, in each Doctor’s series, collected with the photographic covers.

Well it’ll be nice to see the War Doctor again, I’m surprised they haven’t done more with him, considering it’s been nearly 2 years since he was revealed.

I think we will start to see more of him now. With Peter Capaldi debuting nor not long after, the focus was understandably on him. Now he has settled into the role, I think we will begin to see more past Doctor stuff like we have seen in recent years, with perhaps more emphasis on the War incarnation.

Still twiddling my thumbs waiting for their Eighth Doctor series/mini-series. Bonus points if it picks up where DWM left off.

Yes, it seems far-fetched, but they made a reference to one of Eight’s comic stories in #2 of Tennant’s book, I have some smidge of hope there.

My understanding is that Titan have the licence for all of the Doctors. Ten, Eleven and Twelve have their long running series, but I think the plan is for the other Doctors to have at least one miniseries apiece. Presumably it is the War Doctor after the Ninth Doctor miniseries, the silhouette on the multi-Doctor cover backs this up, which would imply the Eighth Doctor would follow.

I really hope this serves as an announcement that a War Doctor miniseries will follow. Out of all the Doctors, I believe that the War incarnation is the best for the comic book medium and it’ll also serve as further content for him.

It would be a logical choice to launch him in the multi-Doctor story, ready for a five part miniseries to follow shortly after. I don’t expect The War Doctor to be in the multi-Doctor story a great deal, probably only a minor presence like the First Doctor in The Three Doctors. Still, I am chuffed at the prospect of some more War Doctor content, especially in comic form. I don’t think there is the demand to do a full series, like the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors, but a five part miniseries would be most welcome.

I’m hoping much the same that these make it into the monthly comic as well, seeing that the standalone issues of the current Doctors all vary at the moment anyway. I should imagine that the 9th. Doctor mini-series get’s put into the monthly mix eventually as well. Plenty of scope all round really.

Yeah it says Four Doctors on the Cover, admittedly, on the first cover it looks like there’s an outline of possibly the War Doctor ??
I mean if they were trying to keep it quiet placing Four Doctors on each of the covers wasn’t the best move.
And if it’s a massive cock up, then someone really needs to learn how to count.
