So the 4 Chase Variants are: 10th. Doctor (No doubt with glasses?) Tardis, Clockwork Robot & a Dalek. Liking the Daleks & Clockwork Robots very much!

The TARDIS variant could feature the “Bad Wolf” text, as seen at the end of Turn Left, while the Clockwork Robot is probably the purple version. What about the Dalek, though?

It’s the same shape as the other Daleks so it can’t be the Supreme.

      DALEK THAY
      IMPERIAL DALEK

THOSE ARE THE ONLY 2 I CAN THINK OF

    • Anonymous

      May 26th, 2013 - 10:22pm

The problem with them is, the Imperial Dalek is from the Ninth Doctor, and Thay would look exactly the same as the Bronze one (unless it was the damaged one but that would be a different shape and the back is intact on the outline).

So can anyone make out what the chase figures are from the side of the box? I can see the Tenth Doctor, the TARDIS and a Dalek. I think I can see the fourth between the Angel and Sontaran figures on the big picture but it is hard to make out, possibly a Clockwork Robot?

I’m not sure about a Ninth Doctor set. I can’t think of 12 mini figures from his era. How about a mini set with Doctor, Rose, Jack, Slitheen, Sycorax, and Empty Child as a gift set.
    Wave 3 should be:
    Martha
    Rose
    Donna
    Amy
    Rory
    Jack
    Clara
    Vampire (Vampires of Venice)
    True Form Vampire (Above)
    Smiler
    River Song
    Peg Soldier
    Variants:
    Bride Donna
    Demon’s Run River
    Bride Amy
    Peg Doll

      emperor dalek
      slitheen
      the unquiet dead
      reapers

I can easily think of a few for a 9th doctors set:

      9th doctor
      Rose
      Mickey
      Jackie
      Auton
      Slitheen
      Empty Child
      Mrs peace (Gelth Zombie)
      Chained Dalek
      The Editor
      Trine-E
      Zu-Zana
      Reaper
      Jabe
      Cassandra
      Chip
      Steward
      Face of Boe
      Moxx of ballhoon
      Charles dickens
      Auton mickey
      Pete Tyler
      Dr.Constantine

    • The Driver

      April 7th, 2013 - 5:56pm

For series 3, I think there should be:
      Slitheen
      Tardis
      9th Doctor
      Auton
      Sycorax
      Empty Child
      Gold Dalek
      Moxx of Balhoon

    • James Smith

      April 9th, 2013 - 4:00am

A Gold Dalek is in this set, and this series seems to be targeted at the mainstream, so maybe if it becomes more popular we can add obsecure figures like Dr. Constantine. Also, Emperor Dalek and Face of Boe are too big to be able to be in scale.

So what do we reckon the “chase” figures will be? Given what happened last time (all variants of existing sculpts), we’ll probablly see the Clockwork Robot, Weeping Angel and Cyber Leader getting variants which the other probablly being another Tenth Doctor (possibly a painted on coat).

    • Anonymous

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:35pm

They aren’t that bad actualy, 1 in ever 40 figures.

Compared to CB where you are looking at 1 in 5000 for some that isn’t that bad.

    • DoctorWhoFan101

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:36pm

I think, I’m not sure, but I think they’re like hidden figures you have to chase for. Look out for in other words. Not sure.

    • The Flying Shark

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:37pm

Chase figures are special variants that are very hard to find, hence the name, you have to chase them. They’re like Character Building Super Rares, only easier to find.

    • eddy

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:41pm

oh, ok thanks guys, will they fetch as much money as the character building figures?

    • Anonymous

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:45pm

No, they are barely more expensive than any of the others in the set but given how common they are that is only to be expected.

If anything their rarity is more compareable to the rare standard CB figures (although slightly more expensive because these are more expensive figures).

    • The Ice Warrior is

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:48pm

    • booboo

      March 18th, 2013 - 8:54pm

They cost that much, they will not be made in massive quantities like Character figures hence the price, they seem to be selling quite well and holding there price from what i see

  • TARDIS

A wave based on the Eighth Doctor would be a bit tricky. The Doctor theme won’t be in any order and I doubt it would last long, they’ll probablly want to start mixing things up a bit eventually or revisit certain Doctors.
