April 14th, 2011 - 11:52ambooboo do the doors only open outwards coz they dont do that in the show (well… they did but that was the crashed TARDIS in the 11th hour)

April 14th, 2011 - 12:12pmThere is a grey base that stops the doors from opening inwards, because this is small it would be very difficult to close them again if they did, however if you leave the grey base out you can open them either way

April 15th, 2011 - 2:13pmGot mine and built it now, ignored the picture in the instructions and stuck the Police Box sign where it is on the promotional pictures….also my doors open fine both ways with the grey centre piece in. It is slightly raised so you have to click it past the block to open it, this stops the doors from opening inwards by themselves.
Fantastic set, love it!

May 29th, 2011 - 9:05pmI got this today. I bought it from Sainsburys, got it back and the door was broken. I had to go back 2 hours later with my grandma to replace it and the new one is fine. Also the doors open either way easily even with the grey piece in. The only bad thing on my new one is that one of the holes the door goes in is a bit small so one of my doors is quite stiff. A bit of it is quite hard to put together (took me 1/2 an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

What you have to remember is that with tescos’ toys r us etc these will be sent to a central warehouse ( which may already have them) and then sorted and sent to the branches, all of these can take several days. the independents get them sent direct which is why these places are selling them already. I still have not seen any single figures or angels sets being sold

April 13th, 2011 - 9:37amthe shops are ordering these now so they might not have them until next week. That includes: toys r us, argos, etc. but all mini sets and micro figures would have been released by the 15th so thats when shops will be ordering them

April 12th, 2011 - 6:47pmAll thou i stopped buying Doctor Who Adventures by issue 200 [ cos i got fed up with the same old free gifts of stuff that previous issues came with, like Tardis Money Boxes for example and sheets of stickers that ive never really used ], i think it might be cool of DWA give away one of these awesome little figures for just one or two issues, as a way of developing interest in the Magazines Readers, and also to help promote the toys themselves.
