drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 9:03pmbooboo, i know this is irreverent, but 2 things:
1. in the evil of the daleks, do you know what a wilkie dalek is? And if so, could you provide me with a picture?
2.in the evil of the daleks, are there a couple of daleks with pupils in there eyes like in the 70s and 80s daleks?
Anonymous
February 14th, 2013 - 9:05pmIf I remember correctly one Dalek had a pupil briefly.
drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 9:07pmreally? that’s weird, i thought only the latter ones had pupils in there eyes. It would be weird to see a 60s dalek with a pupil…
dave
February 14th, 2013 - 8:57pmis this deffo a test set because i want to collect these but not until the propper set is released
booboo
February 14th, 2013 - 9:06pmyes its a test set, if it ere a national release there would be full press coverage which there isn’t, they always do this with part works to gauge demand and final production quantities
dave
February 14th, 2013 - 9:12pmokay good , hope they improve the actual magazine for the propper set because it looks a bit boring but the figures look great
booboo
February 14th, 2013 - 9:13pmhave you seen the full mag? it has loads in it
dave
February 14th, 2013 - 9:19pmyeah true , but it just feels liek there somethign missing that most magazines have , like a comic strip or a quiz section
booboo
February 14th, 2013 - 9:29pmnot that type of mag, more factual
dave
February 14th, 2013 - 9:34pmyeah i know there like the marvel figurine collection or the dc chess the but they still had a comic strip
Alex The Geek
February 15th, 2013 - 7:00amThe magazine looks like a slimmer version of DWM. Much better than the 1st Doctor Who part work.
Nathan Hancock
February 14th, 2013 - 8:46pmHow do you subscribe to get the exclusive daleks
Anonymous
February 14th, 2013 - 8:50pmGiven what they have done with other ranges, the subscription gifts won’t be available until the proper release.
Nathan Hancock
February 14th, 2013 - 8:55pmthanks
Radburn
February 14th, 2013 - 8:56pmI really hope so! I hate it when they do Test Issues, then release them Nationwide but the Test Issue stuff changes! Case-in-point: Test Issue Monster Invasion Infinite card changed completely for the Nationwide launch…

Anonymous

DavidH
February 14th, 2013 - 7:17pmOh my God, these are amazing! I have an unhealthy obsession with magazine collections. Probably for the best that I can’t get them, otherwise my money would go bye-bye
Anonymous
February 14th, 2013 - 7:19pmBetter watch out for the nationwide launch later this year then, at least you have a warning.
DavidH
February 14th, 2013 - 9:15pmHow much is a kidney worth? 😀
drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 9:16pm$262,000 U.S!
Esterath
February 14th, 2013 - 7:17pmLooks good! I might get this! Good substitute for DWA. Shame it can’t be boght in Glasgow or Blantyre.
Anonymous
February 14th, 2013 - 7:10pmWhen they say you get the Daleks for £1 extra per issue, is it an extra pound on every issue or just the ones with the Daleks in it?
drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 7:09pmthe dalek next to the masterplan dalek, is that a wilkey dalek?
drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 7:09pmi meant willkie
Anonymous
February 14th, 2013 - 7:42pmI don’t know what you mean. The one to the left of it is the guard Dalek from The Evil of the Daleks as it appeared in Asylum of the Daleks, the one to the right is the guard Dalek from The Parting of the Ways.
drjakeyoung
February 14th, 2013 - 7:52pmgo down 2 mark 3 60s daleks

here is the wilkie dalek:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipZXTYSdfIc
Anonymous
February 21st, 2013 - 8:34pmNo, it isn’t. That Dalek as you can see is in quite a state so it wasn’t used in Asylum (that was a replica with correct hemispheres).
DOCTOR WHO ONE
February 14th, 2013 - 7:06pmI’d rather just have the Emperor Dalek figurine rather then the Magazine and the other figurines.
It’s a real shame that since his appearance in 2005’s finale, the Emperor Dalek has never been made into a model kit, let alone a as a playset which Character Options could have produced to go with the 5inch figures, since he would be around the same scale as the 9th/10th Doctor Tardis playset.
Nicholas
February 14th, 2013 - 7:04pmIs the Westcountry a test area? It is for most magazines

February 14th, 2013 - 6:25pmI saw these in Smith’s yesterday. Issue 1 has The 11th Doctor figure. They had many in stock, but the figures were all really badly painted so I didn’t bother. The likeness of Matt Smith was also quite poor. A shame really…
