The Doctor Who Figurine Collection Updates and The Future
As many are aware, Eaglemoss is now In Administration
This does not necessarily mean this is the end of the collection. Huge efforts are going on behind the scenes, particularly by Ben Robinson who ran many of the Eaglemoss ranges, to find a new licensee so it (and other collections) can continue. With the 60th anniversary just around the corner, he very much hopes this can happen in some shape or form.
As the administrators have only just been appointed, at this stage information is very limited and subject to change.
Latest updates here:

This “at a glance” post will be continuously updated with information and images on any developments about moving forward but also information on past stock that had, or may have been manufactured and its whereabouts.
- Issues 216-219 went into full production.
These figurines are highly likely to find their way to a retailer(s) in the coming months. They are believed to be in, or on their way to the UK. The magazines were all finalised up to issue 222 but some may not have been printed. You should start to see images of these soon.
- Consoles, Megas and Specials
The 9th/10th and Junk Yard Consoles along with the Cleaner Robot and Mega Cyberman should all find their way to a retailer(s) in the coming months. Some may be in different locations within the supply chain at present. Its not clear how near to production or shipping other announced items were such as the Mega Dalek, Skaak on Horseback and The Image of the Fendah Set.
- Issues 220-230+ were in development, some much further ahead than others.
Its not known at this stage if any of these went into full production and if they did what their exact location is within the supply chain. Images of some unannounced figurines are shown in tweets below.
With thanks to Ben Robinson. Embedded tweets, the newest first, with the latest images and information.
To help spread the word we would encourage as many people as possible to “like” and “retweet” his posts.
I was very happy when we got the nod to include Bellal in the #DoctorWho Figurine Collection. I'm not sure the finished magazine reached the printer, but here's the cover anyway, showing off @claytonhickman's awesome artwork, from a B&W still. #DWFC pic.twitter.com/t8uQWINh14

The "Image of the Fendahl" story set from #Eaglemoss was to have come with a magazine (written by @0tralala). The stunning cover from @claytonhickman is here, and I hope you like it as much as I do. #DoctorWho #DWFC pic.twitter.com/BnPPLzZUCS

I’ve gone to America for the #StarTrek convention so no new pics of unreleased stuff for a bit (but work continues). Here’s one #DoctorWho fig that I’ve got in my phone – Azure. Liking and sharing will prove there’s an Interest in getting them into mass production. #DWfigs pic.twitter.com/k9r6BcM3Ki

Today’s unreleased #DoctorWho – an Axon monster. As always, likes and shares will increase the chance of making this available. This would have been 230 and I particularly like it but I am of that generation! #dwfigs pic.twitter.com/p5xV3UXKIV

Here’s the next unreleased #doctorwho figurine – this is one of the Flux ones – Passenger. The usual drill: please like and share to show interest and see if we can get them out there for people to buy. #dwfc. pic.twitter.com/LghxiRMhfp

The next unreleased Doctor Who figurine is Group Marshal Stike. We had this planned as #dwfc 224. As always, liking and sharing will help to show interest. I don’t think this one made it into mass production. pic.twitter.com/bdPZUtgZJt

More unreleased DWFC figs in this case from ‘The End of Time’ (literally). This is one that was definitely manufactured so I’m optimistic it will be available before too long. #DoctorWho #dwfc pic.twitter.com/Uv6C1BCjef

I’ve felt like this quite often in the last six months. I’ll share pics if unreleased things over the next couple of weeks in between any bits of news. pic.twitter.com/OgUvbAveK6

September 5th, 2022 - 4:06pmDid you subscribe to any of the build-ups? This seems to more to do with that.

September 5th, 2022 - 7:52pmAh, no, booboo – just the DW figurines. Perhaps I was getting a bit too optimistic!

September 5th, 2022 - 8:10pmno that’s fine, i was on that list as well but not had anything

September 6th, 2022 - 12:16amThat’s interesting…. because I read a news story around August 10th that said this company PCT had specifically purchased the assets for most of the build-up collections (excluding the Bond Aston Martin one but I think including the Trek one) with a view to offering to complete them. But it’s interesting they have reached out to you when your only sub with EM was for the DW figurines…. Like Booboo I’ve not had an e-mail from this company yet….

August 25th, 2022 - 1:16pmAnother nice looking figure. I always liked the Aesthetics of Swarm, Azure, Passenger etc.
All the Flux Arc had some very interesting Characters and Designs that I thought would translate well into figures.

August 25th, 2022 - 2:19pmIt just goes to show how much you appreciate things more when they are no more. Ive liked most of the reveals so far. Ive still a little space left in my display cabinet.
Actually id dread it if the unreleased figurines do end up in b and m bargains or the like. Imagine the mad scramble and ultimate disappointment for some if everyone couldnt buy them at affordable price.

August 25th, 2022 - 2:21pmScalpers would have a field say.

August 25th, 2022 - 3:35pmThat will be the problem ergon if the unreleased figures end up in B&M or Poundland etc, there will be a mad rush to begin with and possibly some disappointed people.
booboo
August 25th, 2022 - 3:40pmTo be honest i’m not sure why they would have bought a 30k data base just to tell people to go to B&M. If there are any “unreleased” items one would hope they would understand their value and look to sell them direct for maximum return on their investment.
The ergon
August 25th, 2022 - 3:45pmSo exactly where do you think these will likely be sold on to booboo?
booboo
August 25th, 2022 - 3:55pmI’m not 100% convinced that they have bought anything over what was available in the eshop when they went into administration.
All this unreleased stuff is stuck all over and maybe be inaccessible to them or not part of the deal.
If a load of consoles is stuck in a container with a shipping company, and that company is owed money, depending on contract terms, the shipping company could sell it to recover costs so it could end up anywhere. But it will end up somewhere. Its so complicated in these situations.
We dont even know if all thsi stock they have bought is anything to do do with Doctor Who, Eaglemoss did loads of stuff.
