January 14th, 2014 - 8:20pmI’m still not sure if I’m sold on the paint job on mine, mainly around the gun and plunger, for some reason the paint looks a bit odd, and a little slap dash…maybe I had the work experience chap do this section! There are a few for sale on eBay at crazy money, but in fairness none of those look any better than mine so perhaps I’m being picky
I hope the rest of the range improves. I did however think Dalek Sec was first. The Oswin Dalek in chains looks like it maybe attached to the plinth?

January 14th, 2014 - 8:36pmIt’s being sent separately from the plinth so it won’t be attached to it (then again Dalek Sec was supposed to be first as you said so who knows).

January 23rd, 2014 - 8:01pmI emailed a complaint because I felt the paint job on mine was dire. The company responded really quickly and said they would send me another one. This came about a week later (with an extra copy of the magazine too) and the paint job was worse! I’m not bothering asking yet again – I might just repaint one of them myself. However, if the next special one arrives so badly finished I think I’ll be cancelling my ‘premium’ subscription.

January 14th, 2014 - 8:37pmSome of the Daleks props were reused for The Chase and so kept the rather obvious unusual shape (and colours that weren’t noticeable on screen).
Of course, the claws had been removed and the lamps changed, but obviously they don’t have the rights to the Peter Cushing movies so this was a sneaky way of releasing one without getting the rights.
