October 16th, 2024 - 11:56amHas anyone had an issue with their Emperor Davros where the lid won’t close all the way? The hinge on the Right side of the helmet is too far back so it won’t fit into the groove, leaving a small crack when it’s closed.
I’ve tried everything to shift it into place but it’s so well put together I can’t find a way to open the figure up, it’s annoying because it’s the side that can be seen when it’s in the packaging so I should have noticed!
Not a huge issue, just want to know if this is a common fault before I go out and buy another one.

October 16th, 2024 - 12:03pmMine is the same but it’s only very slight. The right hinge as you look at it is not quite moulded right so it will likely be the same on all of them.

The only solution i can find is to wedge a very thin piece of cardboard in the back / top of lid to increase pressure and push it shut on the front. Otherwise it stays slightly open :-/

October 17th, 2024 - 3:54pmIt’s the side that faces the window in the box, so i’ll head to a B&M on Saturday and see if i can spot one that doesn’t have the issue!
Does anyone have the original at hand to see if the lid closes properly?

October 17th, 2024 - 9:34pmI’ve seen a review online and the original version closed perfectly – the new one does not and that seems to be the case with all the new versions sadly The suggestion is that the original mould has deteriorated / warped over time and now the right hinge is slightly misaligned with the groove, so there is no way it will close properly.
I know this is a cheap figure but this is a fundamental error in the product – I would rather pay twice as much for a properly made / working cover that loses correctly!

October 16th, 2024 - 11:19amHi I have managed to get all 3 sets this morning. Both Dalek Variants in the Stourbridge Store and the Davros in Merry Hill Dudley store. Stourbridge had 4 HOTD sets left and Merry Hill had 11 Davros sets left. This was at around 10am. Happy Hunting!

Hearing to much of this, staff say what they want, someone on here was accused of lying on another forum because staff said they hadn’t had them yet i have purchase receipts to prove they had.

October 16th, 2024 - 10:49amyeah, that is most likely the case. Apparently the person in charge of the toys wasn’t in today, and none of the other staff know where they are kept. The person I spoke to said “he might have hidden them”.

I think it was the store manager who got the Davros for me from out back but i could not find anything else on the shelves.

October 15th, 2024 - 7:34pmAs the B&M store in Beaumont Leys has sold out on the sets, I might go to the Leicestershire area and see if the sets are there, I wasn’t able to go on Monday due to personal issues.
My gut tells me I’ll return empty handed tomorrow but, ‘hoping for the best. If I do find stock I’ll post it here tomorrow.

The store manager brought out 2 Davros for me after i asked another member of staff, so there is a least one more of those at the moment.
