Should The Doctor Who Figurine Collection Include Vehicles?
The official facebook page is now live.
With the imminent arrival of the Doctor Who figurine collection many people have asked about the viability of a Doctor Who “vehicles”.
There are probably not enough to warrant a collection on its own so would you like any included here.
They obviously would not be in scale with the figures or probably with each other but would the likes of Bessie and the Whomobile appeal as part of the line -up?

August 14th, 2013 - 1:21pmI,d like them to do spaceships new and classic. have been watching full circle and warriors gate again and think they should do a starliner and rorviks ship etc..maybe put a smaller ship or something in with a classic figure.

August 14th, 2013 - 4:48pmFor the figurine collection? No chance. These are all sculpted fixed figurines, there won’t be any swappable parts and by the time you’d made the parts for another TARDIS you might as well pay for another TARDIS.

We have had vehicles in the 5” range, but this is NOT the 5” range, this is an entirely separate collection which does not have any vehicles in it (yet).

I think specials should be devoted to the bigger characters like other people have said and maybe even vehicles

August 9th, 2013 - 10:26amThey did a questionnaire with the test run asking about what sort of figures people would be interested in for specials. The following were given (these might not happen):
Slitheen
The Beast
Giant Robot (that’s K-1)
The TARDIS
The Face of Boe
Sarah Jane Smith and K-9
By the looks of things you can see a couple of different things that could happen. You’ve got the larger characters who could be done in scale, far bigger characters that would need to be out of scale, twin packs and also a vehicle interestingly enough. So a fairly big selection.
