Ood Sigma
From ‘Planet of the Ood’ 2008“
“He has become Oodkind, and we wil take care of him.”
The Doctor travels with his new companion Donna Noble to an iced-covered planet called the Ood Sphere. It is the Home World of a peaceful race called the Ood. However, they soon learn that for over 200 years a corporation called Ood Operations has been breeding and enslaving the Ood to sell on as servants.
The Head of Ood Operations, Klineman Halpen, learns of reports of Ood servants killing their masters after becoming infected with a virus called Red-Eye.
Posing as company representatives, the Doctor and Donna learn that Ood Operations are removing the secondary exterior brain of the Ood and replacing it with a communications sphere. This effectively lobotomises the Ood and makes them submissive.
Unbeknown to the Doctor and Donna, in a secret warehouse, Halpen has imprisoned a giant Ood Brain behind a telepathic barrier. The Ood Brain is a hive-mind and collective consciousness for the Ood and without it they are unable to communicate with each other telepathically, thus making the Ood even more compliant. He plans to destroy the Ood Brain and Ood servants in his facility in an effort to wipe out the virus.

October 14th, 2023 - 9:28amNow sold out. Not as fast as previous releases though where some have sold out on the day of release. Whether this was the subject type (i.e. new Who rather than classic Who)?

September 29th, 2023 - 11:05amI just assumed it did because discussions on the friends of Harrop group for past releases have suggested that they’re sent out in order of when an order was placed. They ship in batches.
It’s no biggie anyway, I’m just pleased to have a larger Ood model

September 29th, 2023 - 12:40pmThe numbering certainly used to be random as they came out and stated it themselves, that they’re numbered randomly and it doesn’t matter how soon you place the order. We are going back several years so they may have changed things but I can’t see why they would.

September 29th, 2023 - 1:05pmAh ok. They have possibly changed since, as the last couple releases people were commenting saying they would get their orders in as soon as possible to secure a low number. Unless they were themselves mistaken.
