Pyramids of Mars Priory Set
In this Fourth Doctor adventure, the TARDIS materialises on Earth in the year 1911 inside an old priory owned by Egyptologist Marcus Scarman. Scarman has been possessed by Sutekh, last survivor of the god-like Osirans, who is being held prisoner inside a pyramid in Egypt by a signal transmitted from a pyramid on Mars.
Sutekh wants to be free and instructs Scarman to use robots, which look like Egyptian mummies, to build a pyramid-shaped rocket with which to destroy the Martian pyramid. The Doctor blows up the missile but falls under Sutekh’s control and is made to transport Scarman to Mars to cut off the signal controlling the prison. The Doctor, freed of Sutekh’s influence, rushes back to Earth and uses the time control from the TARDIS to move the end of the space-time tunnel that Sutekh is travelling down into the far future where, unable to reach the end, Sutekh ages to death.

the ergon
May 24th, 2013 - 9:49amThey could round off the pyramids collections with the servant of sutekh (minus smoking feet) and a sarah jane figure to start some other sets rolling. Also a Daemons set 2 featuring azal and the reverend magister. Shouldn,t be too costly since they already have the delgado head sculpt. they would only need to make minor changes.
Anonymous
May 29th, 2013 - 3:05amthey just made a magister set with the brigadire and the gargoyle
T he ergon
June 26th, 2013 - 11:51pmI mean the reverend magister in vicars outfit with glasses, although they could have bok crosslegged with glowing eyes and azal.
RastonEd
May 23rd, 2013 - 8:41pmEven if I get this, ill still be missing one canonic jar cos I missed the mummy from classic wave 2, which is a bit annoying and I don’t want another mummy.

May 21st, 2013 - 4:32pmWhat’s the price in USA?
Joethewhovian
May 21st, 2013 - 8:25pmThats a great price! If time warrior and sontaran experiment sets are £35 ( 2 figures and deluxe vehicle) then scarman and sutekh( light up eyes remember) and rocket is £35, and then you get 2 force field generator thingymabobs, 2 different canopic jars, coordinate selector and sarcophagus (damn you ancient egyptians with your mad words that are really hard to spell! ) with vortex insert for a fiver!
DOCTOR WHO ONE
May 21st, 2013 - 3:53pmOh I am so getting this now. This set looks fantastic, and I’m very glad that there is no 4th Doctor included.
I think one of the things many fan’s have been fed up with is sets always including a Doctor figure. I know that there are variations when it comes to classic and new series Doctor figures, but surely having all the Doctor’s from the old 11 Doctors gift set is enough and just get the enemies themselves as separate releases such as this awesome set.
Dalek The Supreme
May 21st, 2013 - 10:04pmI only get more than one of the same Doctor if the set has something desirable enough to make me want it.
josh smith
June 9th, 2013 - 6:21pmbut i really want a cream jacket mcoy figure and a city of death tom baker figure and a purple coat pertwee figure and a davison figure with a hat.
Fezmeister
May 18th, 2013 - 10:48amI’ll be buying this for sure. I recently ordered the previous Pyramids of Mars figures, so I’m glad I was able to hunt them all down in preparation for this.

May 13th, 2013 - 5:31pmOoh, this looks good, doesn’t it – I always thought it was a bit of an odd choice to release the Osirian form Sutekh rather than the altogether more popular one – but now we’ve got him with light-up eyes too! Cheers for that, all involved!
Scott the Raptor
May 12th, 2013 - 11:39amThe sarcophagus can open? Lord am I excited now!!!

May 12th, 2013 - 11:08amI’m in heaven… I just want this to be released NOW!

THE ERGON
May 7th, 2013 - 10:13amThis is the one i,ve been waiting for. Just what the doctor ordered, or should i say what i,ll be ordering. The sutekh with the glowing eyes alone is worth it. Never thought they,d do a marcus scarman. Totally unexpected. Keep up the good work.
Joe
May 6th, 2013 - 5:10pmDo you think we will see any other figures from this story (other than shrah Jane) and what will the next realese be

McGann is the Doctor
May 14th, 2013 - 3:54pmYou can’t have a character set AND an enemy set, because they are ALL characters.
Better to have the enemies and the other characters together.
Sixth Doctor with blue bow Peri or Glitz and MASSIVE robot
Sixth Doctor and Valeyard and Lord Kiv from Mysterious planet
Sixth Doctor sans coat and with blaster, and two Vervoids.

May 6th, 2013 - 12:28pmI relly think this set looks great and i think its interesting how they are releasing Marcas Scarman as a figure. I think I might just get this one because Sutek has actualy got his mask on and it looks BAD-ASS!

May 5th, 2013 - 9:13amHow will they fit the rocket thing in that small box???
The Driver
May 5th, 2013 - 10:09amIt’s cardboard, so you probably have to make it.
itdalek
May 10th, 2013 - 5:48pmO the fun of making cardboard sets (or any sets done by CO) with hours of swearing and thinking why could it not be ready built!
Andrew
May 4th, 2013 - 4:23pmDo we have any idea of the price?
Andrew
May 4th, 2013 - 4:24pmIs the rocket going to be something, that once you have build it thats it, or will be collapsable / break apartable? For collectors, im sure they would either want this feature, or would have to resist building it.
booboo
May 4th, 2013 - 5:09pmnone yet
