I read the various comments so decided to buy the colour version out of curiosity having already bought the B&W DVD. Pat Troughton was ‘My Doctor’ as the saying goes so any of his lost stories were always a significant bonus given how important they are to the history of Dr Who. I get the various ‘rip off’ comments and duplicity of releases etc, no different to Star Trek, Lost in Space and James Bond over the years. But we all love Dr Who and many of us from that era too, so are all grateful for the work that has gone into the ‘Animation’ process to get these lost stories back to life. I am very impressed with the colour version and it does nothing to undermine the integrity of the B&W version imo. I remember seeing ‘The Three Doctors’ first time around and seeing Dr No 2 ‘pop up’ in colour so was really excited. I am glad to have purchased the colour version of ‘The Power of the Daleks’ in addition others may agree or disagree but I hope more lost or incomplete stories will be released asap.

Hopefully with the Beeb ripping a few stingy who fans out there, it will encourage them to animate missing episodes of the web of fear and underwater menace!! Keep giving them your money! 😀
