Booboo, are you aware that neither this Jodoon figure, nor the reconnaissance Dalek are appearing in the 5.5″ figures section on this website, but the Graham, 13th Doc and Tardis figures are in the list?

Same. All available to purchase from their site again, too- which means they should be available again on Amazon, too. And, presumably, good to go from Forbidden Planet any minute now.

It depends when they are in stock. I’m currently waiting for a 1st doctor console but it’s currently awaiting stock. It’s likely after the date for the product

Not always the case, but more often than not: Forbidden Planet ship on the day of release, rather than aiming for items to arrive with you that day (I receive pre-ordered items from them at least fortnightly, if not weekly, so I see their procedure quite often). Forbidden Planet tend to ship 2nd Class, too- so allow a good few days for delivery rather than next day. (Though if an order goes above about £30-ish, they tend to use DPD rather than Royal Mail, which means items usually arrive, then, within 2 days of dispatch rather than 3 or 4 or even more, with notification of an estimated delivery time from DPD.)

I have now pre-ordered all 5 items, though I may cancel or modify if they show up cheaper, and if it turns out Graham is in the set remove him from my order since I don’t like Bradley Walsh anyway so won’t be getting 2 of him. May cancel TARDIS if I can somehow get one of the B&M ones.

These figures should be in stores now, maximizing sales with the show on tv, not waiting until weeks after it’s finished and forgotten about by the general public.

These all look great! Pre ordered all of them apart from the Tardis as that’s a bit pricey for what it is and what with the B&M Tardis sets I already have can’t justify another one at that price! Hoping perhaps we get an interior playset!

If I was able to get hold of any of the B&M TARDISes I would do the same. (sadly the only one I saw was the one I really didn’t want to get). I considered passing on the Thirteenth Doctor but I think this one looks better than the first, so it looks like I’ll be getting a full wave of Character figures for the first time.

      2. Graham with gloves and brown jacket
      3. 13 without coat

I doubt there’ll be another Graham figure so soon (this’ll be our second 13th Dr figure in two years). I think it’ll be someone from Series 11 like Grace or Tim Shaw(?)….

Nah, it’ll be a Judoon or a Thirteen variant.

It’s not impossible for another Graham though. We had Bill in a B&M set then a single figure about a month later. Plus the teaser photo did show him in gloves. That was my thought process anyway.
I can’t see a brand new tooling of Tim Shaw in a budget set to be honest. But it would be a welcomed surprise!

    Random Thought!
Take away the armour. What does a Judoon’s body look like? Like, that’s a massive head for the body. Must be very hunched over. Always thought the same for the Sontarans!

Honestly pretty disappointed with this. The skin tone should be much lighter (almost grey) and the horns also look way too dark so they stand out far too much and look really unnatural. The hair seems really spiky (kinda like it’s got gel in it) and is also way too dark. The lack of new pistol or the larger blaster is also pretty disappointing. I feel that at the very least they could’ve painted the pistol holster red to match the new metallic ones.

The Judoon in ‘Fugitive..’ were a lot darker in tone though, as were the horns and hair. The new pistol is an unfortunate lacking feature but the new design isn’t that different anyway tbh, and the Judoon Captain never uses the blaster so including that would be inaccurate. You’re just picking for the sake of it.

      January 31st, 2020 - 7:23pm

Absolutely not. The Judoon in the episode has a much lighter skin tone than previous Judoon Captains, whereas the one which has been used bears much more similarity to the one from Smith and Jones. If you look at promo pics from the episode, you can see the hair is much lighter and shorter than it is on the figure. No, the Captain does not use the new blaster, but as an accessory it is much more interesting than the blatant reuse of the inaccurate pistol. The horns should be much lighter, in the episode they’re only a couple shades darker than the skin tone, rather than the harsh brown tone which has been used on the figure. I’m not just ‘picking for the sake of it’, I’m simply noting that there’s a number of questionable paint applications and slightly bizarre sculpting of the ‘mohawk’. Forgetting the inaccuracies though, I’m sure it’ll make for a fantastic figure.

the problem is as it takes months to develop these figures, even tweaks, it depends on how much info Character were given i suppose, the secrecy surrounding the programme now filters down to all levels.

Booboo but this was revealed like a year ago, the promo photos they released confirming the Judoon were returning showed the new gun

      February 1st, 2020 - 7:59am

best go ask Character why its not as you think it should be then they are the only ones who can tell you why.

    • DoctorPond393

      February 1st, 2020 - 9:34am

I personally think the skin tone is spot on. They are far more brown in Fugitive than we have seen before. They’re practically grey in Smith and Jones, Stolen Earth and The End of Time, so I just don’t see any problems. Maybe the hair is a bit longer but I don’t see that as an issue.
