Figurine Collection (Test Area) 01 The Eleventh Doctor
Figurine Collection (Test Area) 01 The Eleventh Doctor
Celebrate 50 years of Doctor Who this fantastic new figurine collection. The series draws from every era show and includes all eleven versions of the Doctor plus his greatest monsters.
All the figurines are carefully produced in 1:21 scale, and cast in a specially formulated metallic resin before being painted by hand and individually numbered.
The specially formulated resin and high quality sculpting allow the figurines to reproduce an incredible level of detail right down to the mesh in the Silurian Warrior’s uniform and the controls on Davros’s console.
Image above is of the actual figure taken by ourselves
Each figurine recreates a specific moment from the TV series in loving detail and every sculpt is based on detailed study of the original production photography, props and drawings.
The collection features several different versions of the Daleks and Cybermen allowing you to trace their evolution over the years.
This is the definitive Doctor Who figurine collection.

February 19th, 2013 - 7:26pm3.75” is 1:18 scale so that gives you a rough idea where the 1:21 scale is.

BOOBOO JR
February 18th, 2013 - 5:57pmI’ve decided to chose one collection to start either between these models or the 3.75″ Figures. The only problem is that I can’t choose which! Based on what we’ve seen so far of both collections, what do you all think I should get? Post your suggestions below. Thanks!
booboo
February 18th, 2013 - 6:50pmits difficult, i think this could end up as great collection with new and classic items, i would wait until we have seen some of the monsters before making a decision
josh smith
February 18th, 2013 - 7:03pmyou should pick the modles the 3.75 inch is pointless they look awful but these have some nice looking daleks
I LOVE DOCTOR WHO

James Smith
February 24th, 2013 - 11:32pmThis, it has Classic era and Modern era, you get them twice a month, and they are super detailed.
Alex Moore
February 18th, 2013 - 5:04pmI just subscribed on the phone, although I live outside the test area. There doesn’t seem to be a problem where you live.
booboo
February 18th, 2013 - 5:15pmgot my confirmation email today, should get issues 1 and 2 together, and then 3-4, by the we should have a good idea of the overall look of these figures
The Monitor
February 18th, 2013 - 5:35pmMore importantly Booboo, the test magazines could be at variant with the later launch ones. Not sure how much of a permutation collector you are, but I think the duplication is worth it.
booboo
February 18th, 2013 - 6:51pmyes i would collect both

February 18th, 2013 - 3:26pmI tired to subscribe, but it wouldn’t let me, instead it took my name and email to register the fact that i was interested in my area

February 17th, 2013 - 10:41pmFrom the pictures I’ve seen the Eleventh Doctor looks so low quality, but all the rest look really good.
BOOBOO JR
February 17th, 2013 - 10:06pmI’m back! I haven’t been able to post much over the last few weeks due to a lot of school work, but with half term here, I should be around a bit more often!
Anyway, I’m totally undecided about this collection. If I was going by looks alone, then yes, I would definitely buy it, but its the price that throws me. If you think about it, £6.99 is rather expensive for such a small figure, when the 3.75″ figures will be sold at the same price! What actually makes the models worth this much, and is it the normal price for collections like this?
Anonymous
February 17th, 2013 - 11:19pmYes, this is the normal price for this sort of collection. They are normally made out of metal although I’m not sure what these ones are made out of (the Marvel and DC ones were made out of lead and then could only be sold in certain countries).
Plus, these figures aren’t actually that small 3.75” is about 1:18 scale, these are 1:21 so only a small difference.

dalek eternal
February 17th, 2013 - 5:38pmnot sure wether to get this or not i wouldnt mind getting the subscription gifts but im nver llowed to subscribe ut i suposse u could get the subscription gifts off ebay which is what ive done before with other magazines
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 5:41pmsubscription gifts can be things that people dont want or do without but i cant see that happening in this case as one is a stand and i cant see many wanting to to sell the emperor Dalek – you may be able to buy them separately though at some stage
dalek eternal
February 18th, 2013 - 8:07ami purchased the subscription gifts of ebay before for a james bond magaine and there were a few selling those gift on there theres bound to be couple that will sell the gifts online
josh smith
February 18th, 2013 - 7:05pmyou might have to pay A LOT MORE for them have you seen the outragious prises for thinfs on ebay?

Doctor Who Crazy Ross
February 17th, 2013 - 4:58pmThe Dalek Emperor will be around the same size as the flight control TARDIS
Dalek The Supreme
February 17th, 2013 - 5:35pmDo you think it would look convincing next to some 3.75 inch Daleks? I probably won’t get it, but I am interested to know.
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 6:10pmnot sure but cant wait to find out
Sebatron
February 18th, 2013 - 12:45amI think it would
kit
February 17th, 2013 - 3:49pmthe only thing I wonder about this is how much the extra daleks would cost each, an extra £1 an issue might not seem much but if you only get a dalek every 10 issues or something it all adds up
Anonymous
February 17th, 2013 - 3:54pmMost Doctor Who partworks get commisioned for 52 issues. So if you pay £51 extra for the seven figures and the base that works out at around £6.38 a go.
kit
February 17th, 2013 - 7:28pmassuming you’re right that’s very reasonable, thanks
Ooooooooh its an Adipose
February 17th, 2013 - 1:53pmBooBoo, when did you subscribe to the magazine? I’m still waiting for my copy in post and I’d like to know if it is due soon. Also, do you get Part 2?
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 1:54pmit will take up to 3 weeks and you may get 1 and 2 together, depends on how they do it
ImSoNotARobot
February 17th, 2013 - 12:51pmSo wait, if we opt in to receive the Daleks, after 7 issues, will you be charged normal price for the magazine again? Or is it just certain issues we get charged £7.99 and £6.99 for the issues we don’t recive a Dalek?
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 12:56pm£7.99 across all issues, otherwise these Daleks would only cost £1 each, I would imagine this is over approx a 2 year run initially so it will take that long to get them all
ImSoNotARobot
February 17th, 2013 - 12:58pmAh okay, that does make sense now! Well if they look like that, I’m definitely opting in for them, they look stunning!
josh smith
February 17th, 2013 - 12:38pmbooboo what scale are the daleks ?
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 12:40pmits doesn’t specifically say but would be very surprised if they are not the same size as the others
josh smith
February 17th, 2013 - 12:44pmohh cause i dont want all of them i dont want the new seris stuff or the sauser command all i really want is that movie dalek and the power ofd the daleks one
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 12:47pmWhile some people will want to pick a choose, i would image part works like this are only viable with a certain level of committed subscribers to everything
These Daleks are only available to subscribers and its all or nothing really
josh smith
February 17th, 2013 - 12:48pmhow do i subscribe then but £8 per every 2 weeks is a bit steep when you only 14
booboo
February 17th, 2013 - 12:50pmyou need to see if your are in a test area

February 17th, 2013 - 11:39amAfter a proper look at these, I am going to subscribe, as Monster Invasion is about to end, and I’m not sure any other Magazines will be coming out that will be of interest to me, so this one seems top spot just now for subscribing to just now, liking the look of these amazing Daleks!
TheWhomobile
February 17th, 2013 - 11:46amI didn’t realise Monster Invasion was ending! How much longer will it carry on for?
Anonymous
February 17th, 2013 - 11:53amIt will end at issue 52 unless they are being extended, but no announcement has been made yet.
ImSoNotARobot
February 17th, 2013 - 12:20pmI kinda hope it isn’t extended, as I lost interest just after the 3rd set of cards were announced as I didn’t see the point in them, but continued with my subscription, so if it it extended, I will be cancelling it, and start on this magazine instead as this has a lot more interest to me.
TheWhomobile
February 17th, 2013 - 1:30pmEven if Monster Invasion is cancelled I can’t see myself getting this, the monsters look good but the 11th Doctor hasn’t exactly won me over. And also the price is rather high and I would want the Daleks which would cost me £7.99 so I hope Monster Invasion does continue or they bring out another cheaper magazine.
Anonymous
February 17th, 2013 - 3:13pmThey confirmed to me its ending at issue 52.
