News On 2017 B&M Sets and Products

This year B&M will have more new exclusive Doctor Who 3 figure sets on offer along with a re-release of the 12″ Bronze Dalek and the 11th -12th Sonic Screwdriver.
Some images circulating around do not accurately represent some of the final products.

It seems that there are other great options available to them, such as the Ironsides or the orange Scientist Dalek bizarrely omitted from the new paradigm releases. That one would be a very simple repaint so what’s stopping them?

The ironside was listed at one time but again probably cancelled due to lack of orders

Korwin was a classic example of hat when he just turned up in a budget Tesco set
I wonder if that Peg Doll was ever complete

Also, what is tooling? Adding articulation to a figure?

April 11th, 2017 - 12:42pmThe tooling is the block that the plastic is injected into with all the separate parts in it and its one of the most expensive parts of the process
If there was a wheel cyberman i dont think they would put it in budget set

Also if you are wanting to buy a remote control 12 inch bronze dalek you are best off waiting until it comes out in B&M stores, because if you look on eBay the ones release originally in 2006 are worth nearly 100 to 125 pound.

April 9th, 2017 - 4:22pmI saw a list where Leela is listed as wearing a brown dress in this pack. Is that just a random list that someone has made from Chinese whispers or is that the list that came from the horse’s mouth? If Leela’s dress is supposed to be a brown one in this set, it would suggest to me that it’s the Face of Evil version rather than Invasion of Time. I suppose we’ll have to wait until official pictures are released.

we wont really know until official images are released of the actual sets (assuming they do official images like last year)

April 9th, 2017 - 12:13amJust today I was thinking about opening my 4x cybermen sets to build up the cyber controller. So glad I didn’t and people have another chance to get a sought after figure from an early wave release (without having to buy all 4 cyberman sets).
Would the Fourth Doctor be based on his outfit from “The Robots of Death” with him sporting the brown coat?
