There are 52 fortnightly issues to collect. Part 1 is £1.50, thereafter it’s £2.60 though you can also buy the card packs separately at retail at £1.50 per pack of nine cards.
Doctor Who Monster Invasion Extreme is the second set and contains 180 new cards featuring all the latest monsters, characters and adventures from the series, and includes a new and truly terrifying lenticular infinite card. This brings a combined total of 345 cards.

October 25th, 2011 - 4:36pmI have nothing against them including a new infinite card, I just wish it wasn’t part of the set. Like the super-rose, it was just an uncounted extra. You didn’t need it to complete the set.

October 25th, 2011 - 3:47pmIssue 11 has adipose on the front cover and that was becuase of an episode guide. This is the same for issue 8, there is a curse of the blac spot episode guide. The front cover varies. The front cover can also be about the fact file a-z page. Issue 5 shows the cybermen on the cover and they weren’t in a figth in issue 5, they were part of the a-z guide.

October 26th, 2011 - 9:13pmThere’s 26 download codes and to the best of my knowledge every time they give one they put a picture of one of the 3-D models (in two cases it was a different code with the 3-D model but the point still stands for download codes).
Following this pattern there will be a minimum of 28 Super Rares unless they change this pattern so there will be another set at some point, also the website will need to be updated to get the final thirteen downloads so chances are that will be with a new set as well.

October 25th, 2011 - 11:50amthat’s difficult. i definately prefer the BIT cards themselves, as we have lenticular ultra rares, the ‘infinite/golden rose’ wasn’t part of the set, we had glow in the dark cards and some cool super rare effects. If BIT had 3-D cards then it would win hands down. The mags ae pretty equal but i do like the MI Find The Doctor game!

October 25th, 2011 - 12:06pmThey are both good in their own ways. But I think that monster invasion is a little bit better than Battles In Time now that they have released monster invasion extreme cards which is far better than the first set.

October 26th, 2011 - 6:23amI laugh wildly at BIT because compared to monster invasion there are way too many cards to collect but those cards aren’t good cards they’re absoloutely rubbish cards like Kess, Kess(attacking), Kess(with whip), carrionite 3(which was a super rare I think. What???), The trickster(with the graske) and footman. The annoying thing is that MI appear to be going down this road what with cards like dalek view of the doctor and having seperate cards then grouping them together in another card. I still prefer MI though.
