There are 165 cards to collect in set one, including stinky scratch ‘n’ sniff cards, shiny foil cards, a moving lenticular and special augmented reality cards that allow you to see the Doctor, his TARDIS, and some of his most fearsome foes come to life on your hand in 3-D.
Seeing a 3-D Dalek levitate off your hand for the first time is something you’ll never forget, I guarantee!
Hopefully by now you will have caught our TV ad, just one part of a large-scale media and sampling campaign that is accompanying the DWMI launch, with support from all major grocers.
There are 52 fortnightly issues to collect. Part 1 is £1.50, thereafter it’s £2.60 though you can also buy the card packs separately at retail at £1.50 per pack of nine cards. Also don’t miss our collector tins, which contain a special edition mystery card!
My team is already working on set two, which features 180 new cards to tie in with the second half of series 6 of Doctor Who, broadcasting in the autumn. But for now, as the Doctor would say, Geronimo!

August 20th, 2011 - 7:46pmIt’s the same price as it would be to get it in the shops, the only difference is you will get it sent to your house along with free gifts, you can get binders £1 cheaper and half the issues will arrive a fortnight early.

August 18th, 2011 - 6:52pmIssue 9 will arrive on it’s own and then you’ll get issue 10 and 11 together (which might seem annoying at first but it means you get your first set 2 cards a fortnight early).

August 18th, 2011 - 10:53amI’m really mad because i brought the taster issues ( i then thought it was the real thing) and then in issue 7 it had a letter in it to say they were going to release a new set in 2011. I then started to collect the new ones which are now out. And by the looks of that new tin that booboo put on the this website a few days ago it looks like they are going to release another set in mid september. I have got issues 1 – 7 of the new ones but i dont think i will be getting this issue or any other issue to come

I’ve seen some test set pics and videos and they have pre eleventh doctors era episodes in them! We could have some classic episode guides in there as well as they have cards such as the zygons and perhaps some sja ones but not torchwood!

August 17th, 2011 - 5:34pmI think they will watn to pay more attention to the Eleventh Doctor’s stories because they have been more recent and young children will probablly be more interested in them than a story which was on “ages ago” from their point of view (as even two or three years is a considerable amount of time for anyone never mind an eight year old).
