Following the launch of Character Options’ double helping of Exclusive Doctor Who Missy Figures last week, the actress who plays Missy, Michelle Gomez, has been photographed with her miniature alter egos.
The figures have whipped up storm with Doctor Who Fans since they were revealed on Thursday 24th September by way of a virtual press conference hosted by Character’s product development director Alasdair Dewar. Missy is otherwise known as The Master; an arch enemy of the Doctor, but favourite with the fans who have been calling for a collector’s piece of her for some time.
When coming face to face with the figures whilst in New York last week Michelle said: ‘I absolutely adore my new figure! I can just imagine thousands of Missy’s taking over the world one very small step at a time’.
Al Dewar added: Working with Michele Gomez has been so much fun; she was one of the best subjects we’ve ever scanned, patiently holding the perfect pose in both positions for a long period of time.
We know that many collectors have been waiting to see if Missy would be included within our collection, it’s great for her finally come to fruition.”

Do you know who is going to offer them in the US market? Shipping cost from Character to the US is almost the same as the cost of the figures themselves. 🙁

October 2nd, 2015 - 12:02pmPeople outside of Europe get the 20% VAT taken off the cost (UK sales tax), so it’s a little bit cheaper than you are thinking.
If you get 4 figures, ie club together with someone and get one of each, the postage is essentially paid for.

October 2nd, 2015 - 12:47pmyes i suggested people in Australia look to do that, looks like you can order up to 14 figures for the 1st rate of £29.99 ( might need to check weight with CS because of packaging), with the VAT taken of if its very reasonable price if you can share the cost between a group of you.
Unlike the UK there doesn’t appear to be import costs either as its below $1000
If you order 10 figures that would work out at around £19.66 each inc shipping
That about $30 US or $43 AUS dollars each

September 30th, 2015 - 8:25pmOrdered both from CO last week. Was only going to order one, but as you don’t have to pay the £5 postage if you buy both, the second one only costs £15 more than just one with postage.
