Master Replicas Figurine Collection Fourth Doctor’s Tardis

Only available to club members.

Since it first appeared on TV screens in 1963, the TARDIS has evolved with the shape going through changes as the production team built new props.

The original version was designed by Peter Brachacki and appeared in the first three seasons. The Fourth Doctor’s TARDIS, which is exclusively available to club members, made its debut in 1976 in ‘The Mask of Mandragora: Seen alongside its predecessor it’s surprisingly different. It has a flatter roof and is wider.

This compares very unfavourably to any recent TARDIS release by B&M. It looks like a real step backwards in terms of product quality. Four of those stickers (banner sign and windows) look decidedly askew, and this is the advert trying to sell them! What’s the scale of this?

1:21 scale, they have admitted the windows are wrong (these are prototypes) and will be corrected but you are right these are marketing images and this should not really have happened.

They Had me and Lost me in a Paragraph. I dont want to join a club. certainly not for £89 , for in this case, I would only be doing so, to get this Club edition. So say they are £15.99 each thats got to be Added to the £89 for membership.

Now I am sure they plan other Club Exclusives. But the whole thing for me seem very stupid for a Business to Announce a fairly buyable collection of TARDIS Statues. But you cant Have one unless you pay £89 + Statue,so in the same announcement. Not great for a shop, retailer in the current climate. So another lost sale

£15.99 is very optimistic. Especially for the 4th model. Im thinking anywhere between £30-£60.

The club is designed for those who like more than Dr Who. So if you buy DW, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica etc you will get more value for money with 10% off everything you order which in turn would pay for the subscription.

Oh, each Tardis will be at least £40-£50 and you have to pay postage per order on top.

What’s up with the white window frames? For 90 quid club entry fee you could think they could afford to consult reference material, or at least a quick google image check.

I knew something was off with it… The white makes the wonky angles show up more too.
